I work on hourly $21.35 per hour. Suppose I worked 32 hours for the first week and 42 hours for the second week. How much can I expect in my biweekly paycheck?

I don't see where the difficulty lies for calculating your paycheck.

1) The first week = 32 hours x $21.35 per hour equals $683.20

2) The 2nd. week = 42 hours x $21.35 per hour equals $896.70

Total for both weeks = $683.20 + $896.70 = $1,579.90 gross before tax and deductions since you are not getting paid for overtime.

Others have said it before me and I think you can believe it unless you are trying to pull our leg by hiding some information. This is a simply math question and you don't need to be a math genius to calculate your biweekly paycheck.

Without overtime pay, you worked 32+42=74 hours in two weeks, so 72 * $21.35 = $2537.20 gross, before taxes and any other deductions. Without knowing your tax bracket and deductions (insurance, 401K, etc) I can't calculate your exact paycheck.

A typical paycheck for any workers might be around 35% less than gross, which would be around $1600.

@jayceblackstone Sorry, my typo, a case of fat fingers. should be 74 * $21.35 = $1579.90 gross, or about $1025 net after taxes and fees (35% typical).
