Men, would you fully support a woman you care about in her dream career?

The reason why I'm asking this question is because I wanted to know men: If a woman that they care about have a dream career would the men support the women that they care about for example the woman tells the men that there dream career would be a lawyer or maybe a publish author or even a police cop and the men would support the women that they care about with there dream careers. Mostly, yes. However it depends on how realistic it is. I was talking to a lady who at the age of 50, was thinking of going to college to become a physical therapist. I told her with the number of years it would take, and the huge college expense, she would never recoup the cost. I told her she would be better off staying in her IT work and saving for retirement rather than work until she was 70 just to pay off college debt. If I were married to someone who wanted to do something like that, it could make for a difficult conversation.

It would depend. Anything that involved seeking attention, especially from other men, but attention in general, would be a no-go for me. No modeling, no acting, nothing sex or media-related other than perhaps writing. Those are a hard pass for me. Fortunately my girlfriend wants nothing to do with any of that. She likes to garden and grow her own food. Outside attention is not her thing at all.

I did support my wife and her dreams for about four years. She wanted to be an author and an artist, and I supported us while she proceeded. Things didn’t really work out, and eventually things came to head because I explained to her that she had to do something for income. Well, that didn’t go over well. But to answer your question, yes plenty of guys have no problem supporting a woman pursuing her dream. More than anything we want our partner to be happy.

To be honest I'm not a very career oriented person myself. I'm usually just supportive in general of my partners, as far as talking to them about their day and offering any advice. I don't care deeply about anyone's career goals unless it's something I really respect on a personal level.
