It's a blessing in that it greatly contributes to financial and social success, and it makes really interesting things a lot easier to understand. It adds to the quality of life tremendously. It is a curse in that it leads to frustration that one cannot know everything, nor can one be good at everything, nor can one understand everything, and yet one keeps trying. It is a blessing in that one often is able to enjoy the beauty of higher learning, art, music, and science. It is a curse in that one can never get enough of these things. There is much, much more, but I'm a little tired at the moment.

3 moYou learn things quick which makes it hard to be humble when people share their knowledge with you.
You understand people on a level that doesn't make sense to most, and they lash out when they sense it.
You want to be helpful as possible wherever you go, but it often gets interpreted as threatening to someone else's job, social standing or identity.
You develop ways of doing and looking at things that are so counter intuitive to others that you might be stopped and branded stupid before you get to finish. What are you gonna do? Call them stupid?
Sometimes I almost wish I were stupid and didn't have aspirations. It seems nice being happy with a normal life. But the grass is always greener somewhere else isn't it?

3 moWell on one hand...
- You'd learn faster than other people & know more about a wider range of stuff.
- You'd understand more of how the world works.
- You'd appreciate art, literature, and music more than the average person.
- Maybe things like earning money would come easily for you.
On the other hand...
- You'd understand more of how the world works. And you can't unsee it.
- You'd be lonely as there are few other people you can have a conversation with.
- You'd be frustrated trying to communicate with the majority of people who can't keep up with you.
- You may become cynical over time watching other people fail repeatedly.

u 3 mothat can just happen to many, of the few out there who are truly exceptional at pretty much anything... and examples there's many and plenty
mostly... because on the intellectual side they're going to excel beyond the limits of most of the truly intelligent people, but... on the social and emotional aspects, they will not develop as well and that's when the "blessing and curse" start to cause disruption in their extraordinary lives
and then, they will hardly or never find someone they can relate to00 Reply
3 moLuckily I am not a genius, but I have some friends that were off the charts, it was definitely a curse, it was very hard for them to blend in, and talk with normal people. And interestingly, they didn't really do that well in the workplace, unless you were in tech or something, those personalities don't get high paying jobs.
10 ReplyI would say they are boon to the world. Because they can bring positive changes.. Think about the invention and possible outcomes. Buttttt, I also think the extremely brilliant ones find it difficult to connect with people. Not many people matches their wavelength. Not many people can handle intellectual conversation. So, it's a curse for them.
10 ReplyI think it can be both.
Being a genius can be a blessing in terms of how deeply you understand things and the kind of ideas you can create.
But it can also feel isolating , like you see or think about things in ways not everyone around you relates to.
I picture it as having a mind that’s always ‘on,’ which can be powerful, but also exhausting if there’s no balance or connection.10 Reply
3 moIt sucks a bunch of dicks... a bag of dicks. You know what's going on and you're surounded by a bunch of retards that are actually glad they're retards and think they're correct becasuse they're retarded. They voted for Biden.
10 ReplyWell I guess I would have to picture it with no clothes on I mean if I'm going to be honest why not and then she could tell me the route number of apple pie and chocolate cake.
Well I don't want to picture her like Albert Einstein that's for sure and sometimes it is just what it is and a lot of people don't show their true potential are their true selves because they don't want people to know who they really are00 Reply
m 3 moI picture it as nothing related to blessings and curses, because that would be a restrictive and boring religious concept. I picture it as nuanced and subjective instead. I will tell you what I think of one genius' life after I'll listen to what they have to say about their life story.
00 ReplyI would think a blessing but I guess it could feel like a curse if your be taken advantage of for it.
30 ReplyI don't think I could ever call myself a genius. I'm far from perfect, nor do I aspire to be perfect. I guess it would put a lot of stress on you, as expectations in just about every field are high.
00 ReplyTypically, a genius earns a lot of money, so that is a blessing.

Actually not true. A lot of stupid people find it easier to make it through life because they're willing to work hard like a drone for other people hoping to get somewhere in life. Most intelligent people don't like degrading themselves as much as normies do.

Also intelligent people are treated like a threat to anyone with any power.
I think that it's a blessing and if you're lucky, you can land a job making quite a lot of money. 💰

u 3 moI know three or so geniuses. It's rather difficult to find a generalization for them as it is to find one for the average population. Genius or not, everybody is its own individual.
00 Reply Its one of those issues where the circles join together , person dependent I believe it can be both , a rich ( super ) genius? Could be another matter again.
An evil genius too?

3 moMaybe a mixture of both lol

00 ReplyNo, clue I'm not a genius
