Nobody serious uses X and never will again. It's a cesspool.
Grok is dead in the water. Space X engineers refuse to use it. SpaceX's second-largest revenue line is renting compute to Anthropic because there is nothing useful for Grok to do with it.
Unencumbered by all the garbage, Starlink is worth maybe $250 billion. SpaceX as a whole is ~10 x overvalued.
But what are you going to do? Musk businesses are meme stocks. They are like bitcoin: if they are worth practically nothing, who is to say they shouldn't be worth twice as much tomorrow?
@Kelly6Not being a financial advisor, or a Tech whiz, mine is only a SWAG, 'Scientific Wild Assed Guess. UNDERVALUED by far. I drive one of his wonder machines - a model S Plaid. He will put us on Mars in the near/distant? future and SpaceX will be King of the Hill
SpaceX loses money. Tesla is a $1.5 trillion company making $3 billion in profits. If I asked to borrow $1500 from you but assured you I'd pay you back $3 a year how excited would you be?

Yes. Is the simple answer.
Starlink is a good business.
The launch business doesn't make much.

Elon creates the need for launchers with his Starlink constellation.
He auto-generates the business with questionable needs.
I mean technically the whole stock market is overvalued. I wouldn't say Space X is a Ponzi scheme but it's hard to see the return on capital.
agree
@AngryCarl3
agree but at least other companies such as google or apple generate lot of profit
@Kelly6 Yes.
Alphabet, Meta, Amazon make a ton of money.

@MrChinaski will be very angry on $3/ year lol
Absolutely YES..
But , the price will move higher pushed by the index.
All musky business is running on promises, fantasies and lots of hot air. 🙄
You think fantasies and hot air are performing almost 200 launches a year at prices less than half of what it cost per launch 10 years ago?
You clearly don't know much about the space launch business, of which SpaceX owns 85% of GLOBAL launch capacity.
Obviously..
Its assets are only worth around 70 billion.
If ypu want to buy, try late December when things cool off. That is what I will do. I probably own some already through index funds though.
It is probably worth a lot of money because of the rockets.
@Kelly6 How can we know for sure?
asking those who know it.
