What is the difference between a full-time job and a permanent job?

Full time just means you are working full time hours usually 40 hours a week or more but it doesn’t mean the company won’t eventually let you go if they need to or you get fired for something you did wrong , A permanent job means you are guaranteed your position no matter what , you are a great asset to the company or you own the company, making it your permanent position , you are guaranteed work as long as the company stays in business

a full time job just means that you work 40 hours. It could be a contract position or a temp job. A permanent job is what we called a headcount. It comes with benefits and maybe a retirement plan. It is long term.

In the US there are no permanent jobs. Unless you have union protection, you can be terminated at any time for almost any reason.

In my understanding a permanent full time position is an ongoing position that won't end where a non permanent full time position is one that ends upon the finish of a specific project.
