I think I have been ghosted on a low-bar-of-entry role. I was in contact with a recruiter at the company last week, but no callbacks or anything this afternoon, despite reaching out this morning. The job requires only a high school diploma.

I think it's probably just how some recruiters work. They have to handle a lot of candidates and select just a few for the positions. It's not ghosting and it's not personal at all if they actually forget to tell everyone the 'nays'. Just keep trying, look for other positions, and keep your cool.

It is ironically she called me very quickly that day. It was for an overnight weekend security guard job that paid less than $20 an hour. I was just out of town last week. Once Monday (today) rolled around, I get no responses.
