Growing up I was terrible in school an couldn't care less. Never missed a year but based of my scores people didn't envision a bright future for me. I did not attend University nor I have a degree, instead I decided to perfect some of my skills and stuff I'm good at. I have a promising career and earn more than all my friends who have 9-5 jobs with multiple degrees. With that being said I encourage all kids and teenagers to do well in school, knowledge is everything, but also there's more than just having good scores.

It's sad to see people that devalue school as just a way to make more money. Having an education makes you more well rounded as a person, have a deeper understanding of people, real world events, health. It's also a huge accomplishment after having dedicated so many years of your life to finish such a difficult task. Getting multiple degrees is much easier said than done

I pursued academics to honour my God, not because I believed I needed any education to build my career and getting a degree was extremely fun and worthwhile. And it changed me from being a dry person to being a person with goals and dreams.

I have loved school and learning since the very first time I went to school. I remember when I was a very young child, I used to wake up early in the morning and bother my parents to take me to school early. I have now gone a very long way in school and have three college degrees. Technically, I guess I'm finished, but I'm looking forward to going back to a different sort of school very soon. I absolutely love school.

So far, I'm WAY smarter than most kids, today, are!! History bored me so, I didn't get too much into that and I hated math but, have since come to love it, almost to the point where I look for things to add up and what have you! I think I got as far as the beginnings of Calculus in college.

I started out liking school, but we moved so many times that I ended up attending 10-12 different schools K-12, including four years of high school in three states. However, because I was classified as a gifted student, some of my relatives went crazy, trying to shove college up my ass, but to no avail. So, like you, I never much cared for school, or the cliques you have to belong to be accepted, and on top of that, I had an aunt who hated my guts for decades, until she died a few years ago.

From my experience, people who never did well in school and never attended college tend to have much more fragile egos and prone to low self esteem than those who did well in school when they were young. You can tell if someone has a fragile ego based on how they take criticism

Being successful in my career started with being successful in school. Unlike some people who go to college to party, I went to learn, paid my own way, and was successful, finishing in the top 10% of my class.

It was important until having money to survive made school look trivial. You can gain knowledge many ways so no one needs school and certainly not past the age of 16.
