It's very hot and I can't study; I have air conditioning, but I can't keep it on all the time because of the high electricity bill. I've started getting a tan because of this hot weather.

Cover your window with dark curtains or drapes, the less light that comes in the less hot it’ll probably feel. Then if leaving the AC on uses up too much electricity, maybe a stationary fan or if you just don’t want to use anything that plugs in buy a small portable fan and keep it close to you. You could put it on your desk while you’re studying. But make sure you keep your room as dark as possible and only use a small lamp. Turn the water halfway cold when you go take a shower, that’ll help keep you a bit refreshed.
4.5 ton central A/C system with a SEER rating of 18 and an inground pool. I hate heat and humidity. And unfortunately, my area is having a crap ton of both for the next few days. The only good thing about the weather is that the pool warms naturally.
Hey tans are beautiful there are ways to make little swamp coolers that are mobile that are so simple to make and they don't use anything close of the energy that your air conditioner is using
If I lived by you I what do you want I probably have all the materials to do it and it just works 10 times better and it is way way cheaper and you can run it 24 hours a day
I have a high efficiency heat pump and it's fairly economical to cool with and I almost shiver sometimes.
How lucky you are.
You're right. I don't know what the weather is like where you are but it's obviously too hot to study.
I tolerate heat much better after healing childhood traumas, but if you must save on energy costs then try an astronaut sort of outfit that cools only you and not the house walls that get heated from the outside.
Still have that ac shortage I see, that sucks indeed
Find a man that can afford to be comfortable
Heat is everywhere, do not worrie, you girls would love a free tan 🤣
