At the time our landlord evicted us out so we had to live in temporary housing in another city for 5 months, and I couldn't get to work on time so I had to leave.
Can I say this to my interviewer?

Of course you can but I wouldn't. It opens up the conversation about why you were evicted and that has nothing to do with the work you want. Being evicted for any reason will not strengthen your chances of getting the job. In fact, if I were the interviewer I'd wonder if you would be unreliable as an employee.
Of course you can. Interviewers are interested in your job history and if you were not working for a period of time, why. What you describe is a perfectly good reason to be out of a job.
Just be frank, open and honest. Don't make a big deal of it.
It's a reason outwith your control so it should be valid but the eviction is something to avoid mentioning.
Why?
My employer and I did not mutually have the same needs so we decided to part ways, I’m ready to move on to new opportunities.
They'll ask to clarify
Actually they can’t ask you why you left your last job just like it’s illegal for them to find out why
They can ask you how was your attendance was like though
Yeah I feel like that’s a reasonable excuse for leaving a job and it shows it wasn’t bc you’re bad at your job or just didn’t wanna go anymore. Maybe just present it professionally.
Well ya, that's a perfectly legit reason. Sorry to hear about that!!
Why tell them anything. ?
They ask
Sure you can
I wouldn’t

Yes, you can say it, but frame it briefly and professionally, focusing on responsibility and stability now.
For example:
“During a sudden housing eviction, I had to relocate to temporary accommodation far from my workplace. The commute became unmanageable, so I left the role rather than let my reliability suffer. That situation is fully resolved now—I’m in stable housing and able to commit long term.”
Avoid emotional detail, emphasize that:
- It was a one-off, unusual event
- You handled it responsibly
- The problem is completely resolved now
