Is it true that workers in the medical field are always hooking up with each other?

[Anonymous]

I've heard this rumor too many times to believe there's no truth behind it and if so whats this phenomenon lol

[midnightmoon05]

Always? no. The few loud mouth will get with anyone in any profession... even when its only one from one company... it becomes everyone... not true.

I have worked in 3 schools... if any... just 1 or 2 in the school but who cares...

so no... not everyone is hooking up.

medical? they are way too busy/tired.

law? don't know.

[Asker]

Well that's what I heard 😬

[midnightmoon05]

becareful what you read.
and who is sharing these...
don't beleive everything you hear/read.

[Asker]

Well according to what I read it's people that have worked in the field so i can't say I don't believe it cause I believe there's at least partial truth to it

[midnightmoon05]

yes... that loud mouth. most who do, don't really go around bragging.
drama?
I know a lot in the M. field.

[Asker]

Well maybe they got a secret life 😂

[midnightmoon05]

my niece? and my bestfriend of 34 years. ? i was there for her when she gave birth to her 2nd child?
my hubby's sister in law? these are pretty close to me.

[Asker]

So they are pretty much family, that doesn't count, they aren't strangers and I'm not saying everyone, but a decent amount, your peeps don't count 😂

[midnightmoon05]

ok mr. chico... go listen to strangers smh.
why does this matter to you?

[Asker]

Cause it's important if I plan to marry ☺️

[midnightmoon05]

i can tell you like drama lol

[Asker]

As long as I'm not a part of it 😂

[midnightmoon05]

Focus on quality women. Would you know one if you meet/see one?

[Asker]

Yes of course lol

[7Phoenix7]

Nah that’s just silly talk… the only reason it’s a big rumor is because doctors make a lot of money. So sometimes their partners would worry that the “nurses” or other medical staff would go after their doctor husband or wife…

And sometimes doctors do cheat… just like every other person that cheats.

[Asker]

According to what people say online they all be on some fuckfest shit and they hookup with each other

[7Phoenix7]

Well I worked in healthcare for some years and my partner gave me hell thinking I was cheating when I wasn’t… and he was basically hearing the same silly rumors lol

[Asker]

Well I'm not saying all of them, but I understand his concern, lots of people's experiences online have certain issues, I'm not saying your partner was right for not trusting you, he should've but you know what I mean lol

[DryGermanGuy]

From what I have heard, no. Not more than people in any other professions.

[Asker]

Well your country is probably different with it all

[DryGermanGuy]

I asked US-Americans, actually. That's where the cliché came from.

[Asker]

Doesn't change anything but fair enough

[lilBigPotato]

I think it comes a lot from all the drama shows... There's always some sex happening between colleagues so everyone assumes that's just how it is I guess?

[Asker]

Nah I wish it was from shows, it's mostly from individuals sharing their personal experiences online, kinda wild ngl lol

[sage2021]

I'm sure there is some hanky panky going on somewhere between them. Otherwise there wouldn't be any in the world 🌎 and I find that impossible!!

[Asker]

Hanky panky 😂

[ushagomez]

Medical moments, bank bonks, legal lays….. professional sex it is then….

[Asker]

What 😂

[Kvass]

Only in movies

[Asker]

Are you in the medical field? Lol

[Anonymous]

Happens in law firms too lol

[Asker]

So much for a professional field 😂

[Opinion Owner]

True 😂

[Asker]

Probably happens in banks too lol

[Opinion Owner]

Especially hedge funds and investment banks

[Asker]

You just know all the secrets don't you 😂

[Opinion Owner]

Maybe 😂. Night.

[Asker]

🤔🤔

[Anonymous]

No…. Happens any profession

[Asker]

Not what I've heard lol

[Anonymous]

Mostly true.

[Asker]

May I ask how you know? Lol

[Opinion Owner]

I'd like to answer this but it'd put me in a precarious position of potential HIPPA violations. Suffice it to say that men in the medical field (doctors) are well paid among other things. Still numbers wise the medical field is dominated by women. You're not going to change human biological reality. Now add easy access to pharmaceuticals to the mix and you have the perfect cocktail to an adult time on the side. Not even necessarily off hours. It's a very tight tightrope. And as long as their not killing patients (or even worse getting sued😆). The medical establishment looks the other way. Generally they know who they can trust and who they can't (you as a patient just does't). And they know when someone has become to big of a liability. Just hopefully they don't kill someone before that happens. It's the dirty little not-so-secret of the medical community.

[Asker]

So it does happen a lot tho?

[Opinion Owner]

Yes. But only with doctor's willing to jeapodize their career. This is why you avoid nurses like the plaugue. I'm not suggesting they're all bad, or even half of them. But a big enough percentage.

[Asker]

Dayum lol

[In_Trance]

Yeah
