How easy is it to find office admin work in Sydney or Melbourne at 40?

I'm 40 years old.

My father is 72 and he is a narcissist. He's verbally and emotionally abusive. I've put up with this my whole life and I can't do this anymore.

I live in New Zealand and I've always wanted to live in Sydney or Melbourne in Australia.

My mum chooses to stay with that slob. She always hits me when I talk badly about him or tell her to leave him.

My dad broke up my extended family from an argument so I can't see them anymore.

Is it easy to get an office admin job in Sydney or Melbourne at my age?

But you will get a job , it's just how good that job is , and cost of living is out of control in both Melb and Sydney..

Sydney more beautiful, but housing is SUPER expensive, so easy to be working poor , Melb not much better..

It shouldn't be difficult to get an office admin job if you have the skills, experience, and some good references from previous employers. If you have friends where you want to live, see if you can stay with them while you find a job.
