About a year and a half ago I started up a small karate dojo. Several of the students who joined were college guys. Most of the students toward the end had known each other prior to coming in. The college guys, though I didn't know it at the time, were fuckboys who'd gotten slapped by girls for being fuckboys. They were there to learn how to catch or block college girls slaps so it couldn't happen to them again. I didn't know this until much later, when several, including my #2 got slapped (again) by girls at their University. He ended up quitting, and took several others with him. With no newcomers, it really wasn't worth it for me to keep paying the overhead. Basically, college girls shut me down smh. Should I give the leftover money from unclaimed memberships then to college girls who've slapped fuckboys, would that be the right thing to do?

The new standards require American automakers to increase fuel economy so that, across their product lines (NOT INDIVIDUAL VEHICLES) their passenger cars would average 65 miles per gallon by 2031, up from 48.7 miles today.

Whats the threshold for you to where you conclude a person is 'broke' to you?

So some or most of these may qualify a person as 'broke' to you but which one is the cut off point for you where anything above that a person isn't broke and everything below it you consider them 'broke'?

We often hear about "unemployment" probably more so than "underemployment".

Let's say a guy is an experienced software engineer. He gets laid off, and due to the competitiveness of the job market, he struggles to land a new role in his profession. Therefore, he has to pick up a role as a stocker at a grocery store to make some income in the meantime, because, after all, some income is better than none.

Or, there is a woman who graduated from a university with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. She is unable to land a career despite submitting hundreds of applications and having internship experience. Therefore, she has to continue her day job as a waitress until she is able to get her foot in the door.

These are some examples of "underemployment". Sometimes, taking a job below one's skill level is a choice, often times it is not.
