I love when actors and actresses take on the role of playing the devil. For some it's a comedic spin, others it's a serious questioning of Heaven and Hell, others just play it straight down the middle evil, and still others choose to play a more sympathetic devil. We have only to look at our world today to know that choosing between good and evil isn't always so black and white and cut and dry which is why the devils temptations and promises and moral questions tend to make for good what would I do moments. There are so many directions an actor can take this role which is why a lot of them enjoy playing the character and trying to develop the idea of this evil being in their own unique ways. Here are some of my favorites from both movies and television in no particular order.
