All of today's music is trash so I find your post irrelevant. There is no brilliance in it. It's all about smashing button on a key board to make a stupid sound and some idiot trying to sing to it.
That's an opinion I can live with, still find it unnecessary you're spreading negativity without suggesting other options lol

I wouldn't have said it as brash, but I'm a lyric focused metalhead here and kinda agree. Maybe the listed songs can be somewhat deep at times, but honestly, the moping around sounding tune can probably make a year feel worse, not better. At least it's not as bad as the whiny love songs or even worse, the "artists" that exist to talk about fucking, drinking, and partying 24/7 when 99% of the world can't realistically afford to. Constantly listening to fantasies, mopey, rapey, or gropy, isn't likely to make a year better, but worse out of suppressed anger that it likely won't happen. Immma drop some tunes here that helps explain this thinking, including Alestorm tune 10x deeper than what's on the surface...(lyrics magnetic north -Alestorm, look it up!) and the last one I think Pipeliner will like the message of. Enjoy.
