Going back to an adult themed movie although very close to the things you would see in the modern It movies...

Stephen King's Sliver Bullet - 1985

This is yet another movie not specifically based on Halloween yet it was listed on wiki as happening during Halloween. Even then, I totally forgot about it until my brother showed it to me again recently. To me it's worth bringing up because it is such a well done werewolf movie and it has just the right amount of revisiting childhood and being scary. It is the perfect cousin to it. Considering it is basically two kids fighting against a werewolf. and the pictures below show that it is not playing around.

Overall, it is fun to watch and reminds you of the 80's being a kid and just about being helpless knowing you as a child might be the only hope for your small town. Well you guys and your uncle that does not believe you until the end of the movie :)

I usually like Stephen King movies but somehow I've never seen this one. I've never seen Cat's Eye either. I should probably watch them both today.

I watched Silver Bullet yesterday. It was fun. I liked when the uncle asked his nephew if his common sense was paralyzed along with his legs. OMG.

I can remember seeing Silver bullet years ago. After that I couldn't go outside in the dark for weeks.
