31 Days of Favorite Halloween Movies/Specials (or at least 31 mytakes) part 14

I am bouncing back and forth between family and non family movie picks :)

This next one could be family movie depending on the age of the child but it is depending on how old the child is of course..as this is fairly tame compared to other scary movies

This was partly inspired by last mytake :)

Sleepy Hollow - 1999

31 Days of Favorite Halloween Movies/Specials (or at least 31 mytakes) part 14

It was inspired because of Christina Ricci

She was in the Addams Family

She was in Casper

Now she is in Sleepy Hollow :)

I am not sure, if it's the awesome Johnny Depp, the time period, Tim Burton or just the scenery but this movie does capture the headless horsemen legend quite well and it is a fun watch for Halloween night. and one pic deserves a comparison just for fun.

I have not seen this one. I have to say I will check it out further. I did briefly on netflix. I wouldn't wstch this with my young monkeys even if it didn't didn that one seen with a man between an womans knees. Too many grotesque scenes but good for me and my man to watch.
Its mysterious and I have actually watched an sleepy hollow stories in YEARS it will be good refresher!
    Is this still revelant?
    • You know what I left this comment and then I went and I took another look at it and I realized I was just grumpy I wasn't feeling well and I felt like an ass so I apologize and I ended up watching it with my child and it was all right so thank you I just skipped a sex scene

Want a REALLY scary movie? The scariest movie I ever saw was "Deadly Blessing." I was alone on a business trip and watched it in my hotel room. I kept turning it off, but then I HAD to turn it back on to see what happened next! The weird choral chanting in the background in certain scenes increased the fear! Don't watch this alone in a dark room!
