Bender is my favourite because I have so much sympathy for him but I identify most with Claire. I'm not really popular but I did identify with her femininity and how she uses that to defend herself, and I identified with her having to pretend to be someone she really isn't so she can get along with people.

John Bender! He has the BEST lines. Plus, he can teach us valuable lessons, "screws fall out all the time, the worlds an imperfect place".

And identify most with hmmm a mix of claire and allison like im not much like either but they both say things i can identify and relate to!

I didn't grow up in the 80s but I fucking love The Breakfast Club. The movie wouldn't be anything at all without John Bender. His character is just so interesting and compelling not to mention hilarious.
