Do you ever listen to Elvis Presley?

I never liked his songs cause they ones I know were all superficial - for example - he sings about blue shoes - and I'm like - I don't care about shoes! I have more important things to worry about than what kind of shoes I'm wearing. i liked Nickleback cause he sang about the importance of companionship in our lives. I liked Celine Dion cause she sang about the importance of fidelity to your lover. I liked Hedley cause he sang about the importance of living life to the fullest and growing through your life experiences and he also sang about humility and finding love when you are down. And I liked Vitamin C cause they sang about the beauty of a maturing heart and I liked P Diddy cause he sang about the importance of friendship and the importance of love. I like singers who have meaningful lyrics that aren't superficial or based purely on sex.
I love his voice and I've seen old movie clips of him. He used to move his hips and look right at you like he's fucking you while he sings. Sexy af.
Exactly my thoughts haha he was a good looking dude
Watch Viva Las Vegas... like he's thrusting in and out real slow while he sings... plus he really does have an amazing voice.
Hilarious! Although he claimed the hip movement things was non-sexual... LOL
Reading books about him, the popular TV shows in the early to mid sixties were very reluctant to have him on, but lightened up over time.
Don't Be Cruel
I like that one too!!
It's sad and sweet and sexy all at the same time
I sure do. I've always liked the good 'ol oldies.
I think I've got that from my parents. My dad (1965) was a great Beatles fan. My mother (1964) was a big ABBA and Elvis fan. They grew up with the music and kept listening to it until now.
Back then, society was different. Music too. Music has captured the style, politics and technology of that time. Elvis Presley was one of the biggest idols in history of music. Not only because of his voice, but also because of style in clothes and his dancing on stage.
I listen to old music daily, and it's difficult to pick a favorite. Many of his songs are beautiful, capturing and also very enjoyable. I'd probably go with "A little less conversation", "Hound dog", or "Blue suede shoes". But I like pretty much all songs.
My dad was born in '62, after 21 years of sitting through countless old recordings of his shows and such, yes he's grown on me, quite the badass vocalist and sharp dresser.
Jailhouse Rock is my fucking cellphone ringtone.

I'll listen to Blue Christmas around Christmastime or Can't Help Falling In Love every now and then.
Elvis has left the building!
Lol. He was a good singer and performer. But the female reaction was crazy! Whole audiences of girls were screaming so loud nobody could hear him, and they were crying so hard they could not see him. He was good, but the audience reaction was overboard.
Yes, love his music before about 1970. His sleeping pill addiction started in the army. Slowly took over his life with other drugs given to him by doctors. Then came Vegas where combining bad eating habits all went down hill fast. His voice changed so much between 1969 and 1972. His music changed along with his voice. The early stuff up to 1969 is the best.
My favorite. It is funny, they approached Sammy Davis Jr. first about singing this song but he didn't want to because it was too racial for him.
But Elvis had no problem with it at all. More people need to take a look at his life and listen to his music.
definitely like elvis. not crazy about him but definitely like him
suspicious minds
i can't help falling in love
devil in disguise
are a few great tunes from elvis
I only like old music. Back when it was good and not all about looks and auto-tune
Exactly! That’s why I listen to older music as well. Back in those days, people actually sang and didn’t use auto tune as much as people these days. I like real
And people used to know how to play musical instruments. And wrote their own music. Now they just have people write music for them where they just speak the words.
Yep. And they buy the sounds and music instead of creating their own
No but it's not the same. With old artists, like the Beatles, I can listen to an entire album and love every song. These days, one or two songs in an album are good and unique.
Oh yeah I listen to his music often. There is a satellite XM radio devoted to him and it's great. I've never seen much of his movies though. I read two books about him last year.
Favorite song? Wow that is hard to answer. I like his version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Kentucky Rain", "Always on My Mind"... To name a few.
I’m not only a fan of Elvis, but I’m an Elvis impersonator. My favorite song is Can’t Help Falling In Love.

Yes. Some music is timeless. Elvis, Beatles, Motown... there is a reason why they are legends.
He’s a pop icon from my mother’s generation. I liked other performers better. He’s not that great of a singer and the music is fomulaic. Try Electric Light Orchestra, or Manfred Mann, or Yes, or Moody Blues.
Occasionally. Jailhouse Rock has usually been my favorite.
The King. 😪
I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard the terrible news on my car’s AM radio.
A handful of songs, primarily "Stuck On You" & his cover of "Crying in the Chapel"
I love Elvis! I have too many favorites, but I love Mystery Train and Love Me.
Nope. My parents didn't listen to him so I was never introduced. He's also not that entertaining for me. Like it is good for a movie soundtrack but on it's own, just the audio of his music is not enough to make me feel excited
I like listening to Elvis but of course I'm 49 years old. So I remember where I was when I heard he died. My favorite song has to be Jailhouse Rock.
Born in 99 as well and I do listen to some songs.
I also love The Beatles and listen to then way more often.
A little bit, my parents wedding song was 'Can't Help Falling In Love With You'
Surely i do, i was born in 2000 and i just like his songs my favourites are falling in love and lonesome tonight. Hbu?
If you’re reading this then definitely check out: heartbreak hotel, hard headed woman, stuck on you, wooden heart, can’t help falling in love AND MY FAVE Devil in disguise!! The best elvis songs!
yes sometimes
Devil in disguise in a good one I like
Yes I do, I love his voice and his music.
My favorite songs are love me tender and falling in love with you, as cliche as it is.
I love those as well
Fuck yeah man. He's the King. "Heartbreak Hotel" for days...
I really love music from before i was born (also 1999). I dont really like the music from these days.
YESSSSSSSSSSS!! :D I love his music! And I still do listen to his music!
Only coz my dad does, I haven't anything against him, I just never remember him till I hear about him
I loved his music when I was around 12.
I occasionally do listen to him.
The only song I've heard of his is that really popular one.. I don't even remember its name...
I own a lot of his cd’s and have his station set to one of my short cuts on the radio, and i have a golden plated record up on my wall. Prob fake but still cool
He's alright , I'll get in a mood and listen to some of his songs.
I have a few different ones from different decades
I never really cared that much for what I heard but admittedly I never gave his music a decent try.
My favorite movie when I was little was Lilo & Stitch. "Burning Love" always has my musical heart.
Not really. I love some other older composers... Simon and Garfunkel for example.
But Elvis is fine as long as music is concerned!
Nope, only when it's played in some movie or something like that
Maybe a few times, don't listen to him on a regular basis.
Some of his songs are a little overplayed, but I like his work overall.
Only if the radio is on in the background and one of his songs play.
Yeah a couple of my uncle's are big fans so I grew up hearing his music
I was just listening to heartbreak hotel , yee i listen
Sometimes
Can't help falling in love
I listen to a lot of older music but not really to Elvis.
I won’t change it if it pops on the radio and I have been to Graceland...
Nope, just an over hyped fraud who stole other peoples as his own.
I like quite a few of his songs
Yup, little less conversation remix is a tune!
"You're nothing but a hound dog."
10 Rue CauMartin is one song enveloping Paris that I wish he would have sung.
Uh yeah! He's still the king
I only like "can't help falling in love"
I've listened to old music, me get of listened to the king.
Yes I do, he's the King, after all 👍
Hell yeah man.
Yup, he is a legend after all
Suspicious Minds, or Return to Sender :) love them
3 Words: "Return to sender"
Mostly around Christmas time.
Blue Christmas
Jailhouse rock, hounddog and viva las vegas
Yes! Elvis is a King!
He will be a good musician forever.
