There are lots of short quotes and one liners, but here's one that I always loved.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_M7YhSNIJA
When Captain Gregg (the ghost), played by Rex Harrison, speaks to Mrs. Muir when she is sleeping. Harrison's delivery is masterful beyond words. The last part chokes me up every time.
You've chosen life, and that's as it should be... whatever the reckoning.
And that's why I'm going away, my dear.
Oh, I... I can't help you now. I can only confuse you more and destroy whatever chance you have left of happiness.
You must make your own life amongst the living.
And whether you'll meet fair winds or foul... find your own way to harbor in the end.
Lucia, listen to me. Listen, my dear.
You've been dreaming... dreaming of a sea captain that haunted this house...
of talks you had with him... even a book you both wrote together...
but, Lucia, you wrote the book... you and no one else--
The book you imagined from his house, from his picture on the wall, from his gear lying around in every room.
It's been a dream, Lucia.
And in the morning and the years after, you'll only remember it as a dream...
and it'll die as all dreams must die at waking.
How you'd have loved the North Cape
and the fjords and the midnight sun...
to sail across the reef at Barbados... where the blue water turns to green...
to the Falklands where a southerly gale rips the whole sea white!
What we've missed, Lucia!
What we've both missed.
Goodbye, my darling.

I’m torn between 1 of 2 of these quotes
“A heart is a heavy burden” - Howl’s Moving Castle (Sophie)
To me, this is talking about having love. When you love someone, it’s a heavy burden because you leave yourself vulnerable to having your heart broken, but at the same time, your love is what motivates you to make sacrifices to protect someone you love or make them happy. When you love someone, making them happy makes you happy, which makes your heart or love for someone like a burden, but that’s life. Without a heart or love, you never really lived.
“Once you meet someone, you never really forget them” - Spirited Away (Haku)
I like this one too because it’s so true! I think that’s why we can remember faces better than names. We forget names, but we don’t forget the experience we had with someone or how they made us feel (i. e. first love, best friend, enemy, parent, sibling, relative). There’s always gonna be a trace of how you felt in your unconscious when you see someone, that can lead you to remember them by the impact they had on you. I think this is why first impressions last and it’s so important that you make a good one - especially if you might not see them again.
“Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.”“ It was right then that I started thinking about Thomas Jefferson on the Declaration of Independence and the part about our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And I remember thinking how did he know to put the pursuit part in there? That maybe happiness is something that we can only pursue and maybe we can actually never have it. No matter what. How did he know that?”Both from The Pursuit of Happiness 😊

I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is. Hallelujah. Holy shit. Where's the Tylenol?

Not really a quote. I love the scene that I literally searched for the script. LOLThis is going to come off as very nerdy
But it's from the cartoon A bug's Life
YOU FIRED!My son learned how to say it when he was a baby and it just stuck with us.
So now when we're upset we just say you're firedMy brothers & I were all avid motorsports (car, boat, motorcycle, truck, etc.) racers & fans. Whenever they got on the track/strip/course, they'd both yell "I feel the need... The need for speed!" (from 'Top Gun') which I later enjoyed yelling as well. So, the 3 of us made it our trademark battle cry before we started our engines.
Tough call between these

Likely the deepest quote on any series I've ever watched. That is the sheer brilliant truth only some can see. When he was asked to share his thoughts with his men:
"If I thought my hair knew what my brain was thinking, I'd shave it all off and wear a wig."
-Duke of Wellington, Waterloo (1970)I haven't been able to track this quote down to the real Duke of Wellington, but it's a very Wellingtonian thing to say.
