One almost can't watch a modern TV show without seeing the token black person in the main cast, feminism, LGBT pandering or a combination of them! And if it fails, they blame straight white men even if they said there were targeting women!

yes and no... doing it to look ethical is wrong but doing it as a comment on the reality of the world we live in is reasonable because unless you can walk down a street and only see straight white people you have to recognise the fact we now live in a diverse world
