Did you and/or your classmates used to beat on the desk making music of your own?
#FeelFreeToList#KillDaBeat
in my day you had to have rhythm and harmnize , air drums were great but acapella
was where it was at, todays groups have lost that talent i think because of auto tune
this is what everyone tried to sound like when i was in school the acapella
was amazing with these guys they set a standard no other group could so they all got lazy and switched to auto tune lol
Omg i loved this song as a 90s kid
i thought you might, i know i listened to it a lot when i was in high school
its still a banger for me now
also this was a good song

I only liked Lisas verse. I wasn't crazy about the song
I preferred this one

I only like Poison and Run by BBD
thats a good song though and poison is relevant today its a song to go by in todays world though its hard too ignore a big butt and a smile lol
Lol did you like their new song Run?
yeah i did but it sounds like she is poison and a player lol , but i liked the beat it had an 80's vibe to it maybe 90;s but it was good
Aaww man, I remember when they used to always use the "grindin" beat all the time.. 😂😂.. They did that in Middle school.. Then in Highschool, they started using the pencils to make a faster beat.. It was the same fast though... It got annoying after that
Lmao we just loved that haha
We mainly did it 2nd through 6th grade. I don't know if i did in middle
School
What about the drop it like its hot beat

Yeah, I sometimes beat my hands on the table making music, and one time in middle school at lunchtime I pounded on the lunch table and a screw came out wow was I lucky no teacher saw me cause they would hover over us like a lion on a kitten I always thought maybe I have some high functioning autism or Aspergers syndrome I recalled has a teen I would flip my arms like a bird taking off to fly I was a very hyper teenager
I always blamed my bullies but honestly, I had problems learning it was way too steep but I took Youth n Law class and I ace that class with straight A's so who knows?
Yea i dont think that you are. You were just having fun :)
I used to tap William Tell Overture with my nails on the desk. I think it was much quieter than it sounds when I say that.
Bada dum bada dum bada dum bum bum
Bada dum bada dum bada dum bum bum
Bada dum bada dum bada dum bum bum
Bada dummmm bada dum bum bum!
Lol Anyway, I always stuck to the air drums.
Haha
Nope. I randomly start singing or humming. Most of the time the teacher would be like, "Who sang that song" or something like that, and then I'd give them the name of the singer, and then they'd respond that I wasn't the one to sing it and they didn't want a new cover version yet.
Wow thoss teachers were rude
The teachers I hadn't weren]t the nicest that's for sure.
Back in the day this would have got us kicked out of our class, which is fine if you didn't like it or want the grade.
It would count as skipping and you'd have to do community service to even get back into the class... and this was public high school. They used to be a lot stricter back then around here. Doors were locked when the bells went off and you were tardy, each tardy was community service to. I had to do 32 hours of community service just to get my diploma after I graduated. Otherwise you don't actually get to graduate. Nowadays they just push everyone through and let them graduate even if they didn't learn a thing.
Damn community service! I got paddled if tardy
That would have actually been easier, I actually painted the hallway of the entire English department... took almost exactly 32 hours, got done around 30 hours but the guy signed off on it, said if I was a paid employee I probably would have taken 40 hours.
I'm homeschooled, but I have a fidgeting problem. I sat in the room with the rest of my siblings and I was always the one making the most noise banging on my desk... also the only.
I dont think we had that issue. We just loved music haha
Sure. All the time, but not often in class on the desk.
I was a lead guitarist and vocalist, so was really into music.
Oh wow amazing
Of course we did. Also music lessons were mandatory in our house. My brother went on to be a very accomplished muscician and I've played in a couple of bands.
Wow thats amazing
If we'd have spontaneously done that it would have had consequences. Not that my school was Alcatraz but some discipline was expected. 🤔
Aww okay lol
I did, but I did it quietly so nobody would really bother me or tell me to stop. ... Though there were a couple times where I didn't do it quietly because I got way too caught up in it and just... Zoned out entirely while doing it lol.
Haha thats cute
They were just hatin
😂yeah, I used my ruler as a drum stick and the desk as a drum 😂
Lmao
I did that a lot, even tried learning how to drum but it's just not my thing
Lol i getcha
Everyone used to do the drum solo from this
I’ll have to check it on my work break
Nope
My teachers would give me detention
They're so strict :/ Lol
Dang there wasn't that 1 cool teacher?
Nope
well actually there was one "cool" teacher but I got switched out of his class :(
Ooo i hate when that happens
Right?
Yes we did that when we were in school too. If someone recognized the tune other people would start doing it. We didn't do it Loud, just light tapping
Nahh we did it hard til the tables shook 😂
No this was mainly when the teacher would step out or if she was writing a math problem on the board. I wouldn't really say a disturbance 😂
No i was dancing to the beats i posted above before my shift started
Yeah, I used to make sicc beats on anything and everything I touched. I inherited my dad's talent for percussion, which is funny considering I play all sorts of instruments, but no percussion.
omg decade's ago lol brings back memories of trying to rap lol
Haha were you on point? You gotta be a poet before you can be a rapper? Thats how i learned back then haha
This was prob the first rap song i heard as a kid. It def taught me

Yes. I was once led to the principal’s office by my ear lobe for doing that.
Haha i thought the ear thing only happened on movies
It happened in the 70s, too!
The gif🤣🤣 of the person beating on the coffee table
Lmao they off beat
I know 🤣
