So i thought itd be a lot of fun to do a series of video game console questions and i can use it to sort if show off my collection lol.
so we will start with the original nes or nintendo entertainment system. Its what cemented my love of video games forever. Soo many games started here and I've been a huge fan of since. Its scary to think we are 36 years away from when it first released in the United states. I was only 2 years old! And our family got one for my brothers 13th birthday at a chuck e cheese. It changed my life forever!

Did you ever own or play an Original NES before? If so what was your favorite game on this console?
Street Fighter, and I have hundreds of those controllers as well as dozens of light guns and other accessories to that system still in the original factory packaging that I bought for a penny a piece at the game store where I purchased most of my games. I got over a dozen Nintendo and Super Nintendo game systems that have never been taken out of package, I paid a buck a piece for, cuz when they got the new units in like the Super Nintendo the just wanted to get rid of the overstock of the previous models. The Super Nintendos were marked down to 50 cents per game system to make room for the Nintendo 64's. I actually tallied up all the money that this stuff was supposed to be worth suggested retail price, with the Dreamcast, Saturn's, Jaguars, PS 1s, and 2s, with memory cards, controllers and other assessoies (not including Black market Japanese adapters and software and the really good games) and compared it to the amount of money I paid for it all, and it came up to an estimate of almost $90,000 worth of retail goods I paid less than a thousand bucks for, and they've never been taken out of their packages yet. It there is a market for this stuff, for vintage original game software that's never been used or removed from shrinkwrap, then maybe I should consider finding some homes for this stuff.
I got the Famicom. Predated NES in the US. It also had a microphone which might have been a dumb idea because we could unlock secret stages screaming into it.
But my favorite game as a kid on it was Getsu Fuma Den. That game was the shit, and at least as good as any Castlevania. Don't know why it wasn't so popular outside of Japan. Maybe too Japanese:

My favorite game on there was Super Mario Bros 3- I got it as a bundle along with the console. I had a bunch of other games too: Mega Man, Dr. Mario, Zelda, Duck Hunt... damn dog, I hated that dog, lol
Yeap :) I've been playing NES since I was a little kid, as my oldest brother had one growing up. But I got my own console when I was around 8-10? Good times.
I had one growing up and still have one til this day🙂 also have a 64, Sega genesis and even a NES/Genesis/SNES hybrid console! And choosing only one game is too hard lol Sadly my collection isn't nearly as large as yours though, I'm jealous.

We had when I was just 5. It was shaped like computer keyboard something like this.
And I use to play Mario, Contra and Duck Hunt with it. Then years later, I think i was 10, we had a DVD that actually plays NES games. Many I think 300+ games in 1. Playing Megaman, Tetris, Shufflepuck Cafe, Raid on Bungeling Bay, Twin Bee, Gradius, Field Combat, Legend of Kage, Sqoon and more of those obscured games. And then when I got my GBA, I also bought the a bootleg cartridge containing Pokemon Fire Red and 1000+ in 1 NES games.
No I did play the original Gameboy a lot of Kirby and I played Sega can't remember what games all I remember was having to tape the controllers back together and having to blow all the dust out of the card reader
Those controllers were not very sturdy. I think what actually happened was that it stopped working so my dad opened it up and played with the wiring. Broke a clip or something putting it back together
I had an atari 5200 when I was a kid. Got to play the arcade games like donkey kong and pacman on them. Then the play station one was really cool. You could play against someone by hooking the two consoles together with two tv's. This was way before split screen.

My brother did (and probably still does). I'll admit that I wasn't particularly impressed with the first few games he showed me; our computer had far better stuff. But Final Fantasy entranced me; it was probably the first to show me that that this little machine could compete with a PC.
Im too young I haven't come across one ever but honestly that is an amazing collection. The earliest consol I have played was the Nintendo 64. I played donkey king country on it. As it was my older brothers I was about 3 or 4 though so I don't remember much about it

My dad has one but no. I liked the Gamecube better, or Ds, Wii. I can tell you what my favorite ones would be tho from playing them on these consoles and ports and stuff. Would be Mario, Bubble bobble, Tmnt, and plenty other's. Castlevaina i don't like any of the old ones, Only really like symphony of the night and some other's that came out more recently.
My favorites were ninja gaiden (original), Dragon warrior 1-4, final fantasy 1, destiny of an emperor, tetris. I have even made efforts translating some that were never released in the U. S. emulate /roms on pc. I have a dvd with every nes title ever made burnt onto it.
Sega : sonice ATARI a racing game can't remember it ( i didn't own one but used to play it) 64: mario party Sakher: shooting games ( also didn't own this one)
