Well. Matrix 1 and 2 were the best ones. The 3rd was was so-so, but it wasn't on par like the very first one. So given that take, I think that while I am happy they're finally having a 4, I am not too sure about this one. I just hope they are able to give the same feel as the first two movies. I am not worried too much about the actors because they have aged and a lot have happened. But as far as story and plot and direction is what I am concerned about. I felt that the 3rd had a strong start but started to decline rapidly before the climax started.

I think I might be... I was just literally telling my g@g pal I want to catch a movie and I was asking him if he was game for seeing one along with me when I come across this post
It looks like they're retconning large chunks of the original trilogy in order to devalue Neo as a character for absolutely no reason with a sequel that isn't really necessary. Tack that along with the Machowski brothers-pretending-to-be-sisters and their outspoken political rants for the last few years, and it's very difficult for me to be any more excited for Matrix 4 than I was for the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Hopefully I'm wrong, but let's be honest- this is Hollywood, and they race to the bottom faster than to the top these days.
I think too many sequels can ruin the original story. I watched the original matrix movies and honestly I think the story already feels complete. Going to a beloved franchise and and reviving a series doesn’t guarantee a box office, but it will risk ruining the impact of the character actions that they carried out.

I am. I don't remember much about the second or third movies, but I do like the first one. This should be interesting.
You know, the original plan was to have the new Matrix movie and the new John Wick movie premier on the same weekend. But then this stupid virus had to ruin everything. It's one of those movies that I'll watch at some point. I don't get excited for movies or any form of entertainment in general. Because getting excited for me is asking to get disappointed in the end. I'd love for them to go all in on the philosophy aspects of it though. You look at how integrated tech is in our life, how quickly it is advancing and how wrapped up in it we can become. It's hard to not wonder if a few generations down the road simulations will become reality for everyone.
I have overwhelmingly lost interest in movies, TV shows and increasingly video games over the last couple of years. The writing feels stale and predictable, rehashed ideas, sequels, reboots, reboots of reboots. I enjoy more YouTuber short films than anything coming out of Hollywood these days.
Hell yes!! I'm interested in seeing how different things will be since there's been such a long lapse in the story.
We all have to watch it !
Wake up Hollywood movies give us signs… of the future. Same as previous matrix moves
Same goes for famous US people
You think Kim Kardashian all black clothes is for fashion? You poor idiot !
That’s a sign of “ them “to tell us humans that we are invisible we are shit scam of this earth and never have a chance to speak we will blocked forever as her black clothes from HEAD TO TOE!First Matrix was a wonderfull movie. It was innovative and bring tu us a sort of Plato's cave story. The second and third matrix films were heavy laxatives capable of healing the most severe intestinal blockages. Therefore I expect the fourth film to directly defecate the digestive system.
Not really. The 2nd and 3rd movies already were just okish. So I do not expect the 4th to be even close to the 1st.
Seems more like a milking attempt to me.A little so yes I might rewatch the other movies first
Not so interested. I lost interest after the first Matrix. They seemed to get me confused as the type who cares about the lore and stuff. I was in it for the suspense.
I reckon they are just cashing in just like so many others have done lately. Sure I will want to see it, but I'm not holding out much for it being any good
Keanu Reeves the most overrated person in Hollywood.
Don't know, I think they only should have made the first one.. The rest were crappy to me Specially when I saw Zion their last human city.. I would have begged to be put back in the Matrix..
It has a 145 million dollar budget. They went above and beyond because you know they had special help from many people. The movie will be GROUNDBREAKING and set a bar in visuals that very few have seen.
it does not look like Matrix, it looks like John Wick doing something in a movie, the Matrix legend is ended years ago, it's not a good idea to make a new movie, i also didn't like the cast, it won't be a good movie, i am pretty sure..
I'm very interested. But I'm not getting excited until I can read real fan reviews.
We are already living in a Matrix-like dystopia. Nothing new to see.
It’s 2021 people. And the directors are going to F-This movie up. ONLY Mr. Keanu Reeves can save this movie.
I'm just praying that it's not gonna be some hidden agenda bullshit like pretty much every movie these days.
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
