I’ve been to quite a few concerts, but the best were the Beach Boys and a Paul McCartney concert.
I was going to see The Rolling Stones, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and Santana in concert two years ago but they got canceled because of lock downs.

The Beach Boys and Paul McCartney sounds great. I saw Paul McCartney and Wings in around 1972. That was when Linda was with the band. It was amazing. I saw them a couple more times in subsequent years.

When I was started high school, a new friend asked if I wanted to go see Jimi Hendrix but I declined. I had never been to a concert before and figured that I'd catch him the next time around. A couple months later, Jimi died. One of my greatest regrets is missing that concert.

I didn't get chance to see Cream, Janice Joplin or the Doors, either.

The first concert I ever attended was in 1970 when I was 16. It was Stevie Wonder opening for Sly and the Family Stone.
Shortly after that, the second concert I ever attended was Black Sabbath opening for Grand Funk Railroad. Sabbath blew me away.
After that, I became a concert junky. I was a lead guitarist and vocalist in garage bands back then.

I grew up in Long Beach, near Los Angeles, so there were lots of venues around - clubs, auditoriums, indoor and outdoor stadiums and amphitheaters - from San Diego to Santa Barbara. I went to hundreds of concerts throughout the 1970s and saw the best bands/musicians. I can't even begin to name them all.

I saw Pink Floyd several times, especially in the early days. One of their tours was in quadrophonic sound.
I saw the Who a couple times when Keith Moon was alive.
I saw the Stones a few times.
I saw Santana open for Eric Clapton. After Clapton played, the two bands both came on stage together and Eric and Carlos jammed.
I saw Yes open for Deep Purple and went to every Yes concert after that.
I saw bands like Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Yes, ELP, and Aerosmith every time they came to town.
I saw Queen a couple times.
I went to a concert at UC Santa Barbara football stadium where Heart opened. Their first album was brand new. Then came Lynyrd Skynyrd when they had just come out with Free Bird. And the headliner was the brand new Jefferson Starship. They had all the Jefferson Airplane members on stage with them.
I went to Cal Jam 1.
Years later, I saw Prince open for the Stones.

It goes on and on. Name almost any band or musician who was around in the 70s and I saw them. I've seen stuff that was indescribable; unimaginable.

Damn, been to too many to list.

I would say in terms of performance and quality, I would say the top 3 I saw was

1.) Shinedown (turned into an acoustic show because their drummer was hurt)

2.) Godsmack (Shannon and Sully had a drum off that went for like 10 minutes. That was awesome.

3.) Sevendust (both an acoustic and normal show)

High five & the wiggles when I was a kid 😂 I also snuck Into a gig when I was 17 with my brother and saw local artists playing on stage.

I’ve never been to a proper concert though, all the concerts I wanted to go to when I was under 18, I wasn’t allowed to go to alone and my parents didn’t like the bands that I wanted to see, so they wouldn’t go with me. And since being 18 and legally able to go by myself, covid has started and cancelled all concerts that I’ve wanted to go to.

I'd still love to see Ozzy, Guns n Roses (though it's unlikely because of Axel's antics), Rammstein, System of a Down, Offspring, Lordi and a few non-English bands. I wanted to see Neil Young, foo Fighters and AC/DC back in the day, but not so much anymore.

I went to see the Irish boy band Boyzone just before the first lockdown. I was mortified waited 25yrs for the concert only to walk out 3 songs in. It was terrible they couldn’t even sing properly. Then caught them out lip syncing. Never again 😢😢. If It was physically possible I’d love to have seen the Beatles live, that would be a dream come true.

That said, I went to a Rush/Foghat concert with my first girlfriend. I went to a Def Leppard concert which was utter shite. I'd probably like concerts more if the live performance more closely resembled the recorded performances.

Honestly I have been in many concert. By many I really mean it. I have been to Diamond Apple's concerts the most. Diamond apple aka me : ) I will name myself or my band Diamond Apple if I successfully manage to be a pop star lol. Okay now truthfully I haven't been in any concert. I’ve only visited one non religious concert and it was an amazing experience. It was the Jay Chou concert at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and Jay Chou is a famous Chinese singer, not sure if he writes his own music though. I used to go to church concerts multiple times a year, our church had incredible events every Easter and Christmas. It was a combination of skit acting with opera and choir orchestra and videography and dance too and they had props to make the dances look better.
