Do you have a favorite character from an old tv show?

Probably Jack Tripper from Three's Company. If I ever see an old episode I'm always impressed by his physical comedy.
Al Bundy from Married With Children:

Legend! He's horrible, but hilarious to me!
The show was so ahead of its time, I got all the seasons on dvd finally!
Envious! I didn't understand the humor so well as a boy struggling to learn English. Yet I found him funnier and funnier as I got older. I think he's my all-time favorite sitcom character. I also love Worf from Star Trek: TNG:
if you can find Drew Carrey show it is also hilarious, so is Martin
I have to check it out. I never watched either of those. I grew up as a teen on Saved by the Bell which was cheesy but funny at times. The humor reminded me a bit of Archie/Jughead Comics.

I seriously stopped on this because you had a picture of Mimi! I LOVED The Drew Carey Show.
But, to answer your question… huh…
Even as a little kid I found something very comfortable about Michael Nesmith on The Monkees… and Dick Van Dyke on, well, the Dick Van Dyke Show… thinking about it, I always wanted to be the tall, goofy, loveable guys on shows and movies.
My father-in-law still watches the monkeys TV show, and even has some of the episodes on beta!
Master Roshi, Dragonball. https://images.app.goo.gl/CQSWB8uFxbi45BN4A
Hawkeye Pierce from MASH. I understood the humor a lot better after separating from the military.
Leroy Jethro Gibbs
