Lol dont watch a film with me. I’m a talker. If you dont want me to talk at certain dull points of the film then its best we watch something with commercials so that I can discuss the movie while on commercial break. But if there's no commercials then its best i have my notepad so that I can take notes of what to discuss after the film. I’m literally an unpaid film critic haha. I dim the screen and use my phone’s notepad when in theaters. #FeelFreeToList #NoTalkingDuringTheMovie

The thing i hate the most is when someone says something to you about the movie during the movie and then when you go to reply, they shush you and say they want to be able to hear. Like oh no you hoe 🤣 you're gonna get what you just gave lol

Its not like we sat quietly during my 2019 online watch parties. Most of us laughed at the horrible acting while others flirted and a few even masturbated on cam lmao. I like being entertained by the people watching just as much as by the film we’re watchin lol. Imagine 20 of us trying to take turns talking on the mic during the film 🤣 The mic static was screeching lol

Oh I am notorious for either falling asleep, hyperfocusing, or talking the entire time during movies. It’s horrible.


I went to movies with my boyfriend a lot. The first time, I fell asleep… Whoops! The second time, I hyperfocused and didn’t even take my eyes off the screen and didn’t speak a single word. The third time, I talked, narrated, asked questions, everything.


I am probably the worst person to go to the movies with lol.

I like getting a large popcorn and loading it up with sooo much butter it is literally leaking all over, and coming out the bottom and dripping, then walking by a talker and accidently dumping it all over them, getting them soaked in butter... oops sorry, then going back to get a free refill up front... cause they talked already and ruined the movie for me so I'm just going to be an ass from now on and try to ruin it for them too.

Of course I will also complain to management and demand a refund, or else dispute the credit card transaction because I was promised to see a movie that I could see and hear and they lied about the end product. They weren't doing their job to escort trouble makers out. I have disputed dozens of tickets and got my refund this way in the past when they won't refund.

I do the same to the a-holes who think talking on a cell phone in a theater is a good idea, rather than get up and go out. I get it when a old lady's phone rings and grabs her phone and runs out while answering it, but I guess she doesn't know how to silence it.

It is almost nothing more rude and in-considerate than to disrupt the movie for others.

You've just ruined the whole movie for them and possibly all your cloths if you were near me.

Drive in movies are the worst when some idiots show up and thinks it is party time, rather than movie time.

So nope I'm not a talker, I'm respectful of others around me. Now if I'm home watching a movie with people, I can pause the show so we can talk then start it back up. If the movie is too boring so people feel the need to talk, then probably should just turn it off and visit.

I'm actually one of those people that doesn't mind people talking during a movie. I even do it myself sometimes lol. But here's the thing: it can't be while the actors/actresses themselves are talking. Because that's REALLY rude. People miss important parts of the dialogue if you do that.

HOWEVER, this only applies to at-home viewing. At the theater in public, it's still inappropriate to talk (out loud) during the movie. (I still whisper sometimes, but I try to keep it to a minimum. I don't want to be a complete antisocial scoundrel.)

Well yea i tend to talk low at the movies. At home, i talk more, sometimes during dialogue but mostly during the boring parts of the film. If something imoortant is happening, i’d quiet down to hear it myself

Although, when it's a quiet and intimate movie it can be really distracting. But those are better watched by yourself anyway. :)

That's why i don't go to the movies like i used to. I want to talk, sometimes i need to explain few things specially for those who skip parts in a movie franchies. Try to watch tha fast 9 in movies without talking, good luck. Plus in Sweden we have subtitles for all none swedish movies so people can read if they hear wrong or did not understand things, so why i can't talk 🤷‍♂️. While at home, i can talk, pause, vring snacks, explain, do whhat ever i want at home.

In depends on the location of the movie, if I am going to the walk in basically inside of the movie theater I definitely wouldn't want people talking to me while I am focused on the film.
