Ahhh, there’s I story there, In a move to stop the spread of communism in Hollywood in the 50s and 60s, MI5 dispatched their very best spy, 007, under cover as an actor named Sean Connery playing the totally prosperous British spy James Bond. And during the filming the opener, Mr. Bond realized that cameraman was non other than Russian spy Sergei Shagerov, and shot him right through the camera lens, killing him instantly! However the actual director was not in on it and really loved the aesthetics of the camera getting shot, and added some CGI blood dripping down and kept it in! Subsequent Bond directors thought is was a thing a reproduced it… soon it became a thing, and they HAD to do it… Not a lot of people know that!
