I can't remember how long ago it was that I went to a comedy show, but I do remember who the comedian was - my brother! He was a professional stand up comedian for many years. He's pretty funny 🙂. He never used any profanity in his acts, so I like that. He used to take serious things I would talk to him about, and the next thing I knew, he was writing it down and turning it into one of his jokes. Yep, that's him - the joke boy 🤗
Aww that's awesome
I’ve never been to a live comedy show, most often comedy clubs are also bars, and they aren’t like the nightclubs in Central Florida, they are REALLY serious about carding, regardless of how good looking you are! Versus the clubs where if you are pretty enough, you get right in!
Well this was at a venue inside the casino, so yeah have to be 21 to get into casino
Yeah, for sure! Those casino guys don’t mess around. When I go to Vegas, if I so much as STEP over the line separating the pathway to the hotel rooms, from the casino floor, they literally FREAK!
One of my customers is a comedy club, and a bit before COVID hit, they gave me a pair of tickets to see Sinbad - who has since died. I got to chat with him for about 5 minutes after the show - we had to wait about 20 minutes for an Uber, and Sinbad and the opener came out after most of the crowd had already left, and were happy to chat with us for a few minutes.
Sounds like it was a good night! 👍
Yeah I had a great time Friday night.. Much needed laughs after shit day at work
My wife and I went to see Jimmy Dore a couple years ago in Sacramento. His wife Stef Zamorano, along with Mike MacRae, Dylan Ratigan were there. They do sarcastic political comedy.
It had been many years since I had been to a comedy show before that. I think that last one I went to was when we lived in Los Angeles and saw Jerry Seinfeld.
You would have loved the show.. Lot of jokes about Dem/liberals Covid/being labeled anti-vaccers, Biden jokes.. could tell the lady next to me must of been a PC liberal, fake angry smile plastered to her face, which made me laugh and clap louder 😈🙄
😁😊

Never went to a SPECIFIC comedy show.
About 47-48 years ago, at Radio City Music Hall.
It was the daily show: comedian, Rockettes, Stage comedy, A Funny thing happened on the way to the forum with Zero Mostel. The concubines in the show wore- essentially- wide belts for the bottom parts of their costumes - I remembered THAT!
Have gone to Branson, MO a few times. See various variety shows, including some comedy with the songs and variety acts.
Cool 😎😊
Nice!!!
It was 5ish? years ago, but the headliner was Jay Leno. My husband and I were laughing so hard that we were both crying. I didn't enjoy the Late Show (I think that's what his night show was called), but he was hillllllarious in person.
Right! Wasn't really into Rob Schneider as an actor but his stand up was really good
Thanks for this question! I'm going to look for a comedy show. 😁
Awesome.. I think it was so much fun cuz it wasn't expected/planned and I had a real shitty day at work (why was at casino for happy hour in first place instead of at home in bed)
It sounds like it really was "happy" hour!
🤣🤣
I used to go to comedy shows a lot some years ago, and it must have been about 8 years since I last been to a comedy show, and it was a test gig with Michael McIntyre, he's shit by the way 🤣
🤣🤣
My family and I went to see Sebastian Maniscalco about three years ago. He was hilarious. There were some things he said that I wish I'd laughed out loud at... but didn't.
Sounds like a good time, and yeah I laughed so hard, had to pee so bad, well that could have been from the beers I consumed as well🤣
Like 5 years ago and it was Bob Marley he's funny from Maine like me so good jokes totally make sense to me
Sounds like it was a good night
I don’t recall his name but it was a hypnotist comedy show.
Was it funny?
Its been a while, it was Don Rickles and Rodney Dangerfield. I almost saw Robin William, but he died right before the show
Yeah it was sad about Robin Williams
Impossible! Ve Germans do not have ze humor! 🫥🤥😬
Hey I'm half German and I have a sense of humor🤣 or doI get out from my Irish half🤔🤣🤣
Never been into a comedy show live, only watched it on TV...
The only comedy show that i'll watch live is if miss brains muffins will be the headliner 🤣🤣
I've thought about it... People used to try to talk me into trying that years ago
You will be amazing 😄
Or not... My fear was always I'd either get up there and freeze, or say something I think it's funny and noone laughs or noone but me🤣
When the people see the spongy forehead they will laugh without you saying anything...
Just shake you're spongy forehead like jello and everyone will laugh miss brains muffins 🤣🤣
No one can feel boredom when the sponge is present 😁
There you go again with that old joke lol
😬😂
I have never gone to a comedy show ever. I watch it on TV sometimes but it must not be good since I never laugh at it.
Some comedians just aren't that funny.. Didn't think Rob Schneider was as an actor, but his stand up was funny shit
NO matter how much i do love comedy, i have never attended any single show lol, but i always watch the gigs on YouTube. The headliner i watched is our local comedian.
Yeah other than last night, went to a comedy club once years and years ago, but it wasn't that funny to me.. But gotta say, to not be into Rob Schneider as an actor, his stand up was funny shit🤣
lol even if you went some years back in time u are like me has never stepped there, so for now you are not safe lol haahah. yeah that Rob Schneider is a funny dude at least.
My last comedy show was Louis Black. I fucking love that guy!!
So I take it it was a good show
Absolutely. He's freaking hilarious.
John Mulaney last month but Dave Chappelle showed up and did like 15 minutes too.
That's cool 😎😊
Yeah it was a fun date night
@Brainsbeforebeauty lots of PB after
🤣🤣🤣
I LOVE Stand Up Comedy! It's expensive, but The Best Entertainment bang for your buck out there! Check out comedy shows featuring multiple comedians!
Well, I don't know how much she paid for the ticket, but I got in for free but bought her a beer and tried to pay for her second but she paid for the second round...
One of the best I saw live was Lewis Black!
Pretty funny huh
I was laughing so hard, my guts hurt and I couldn't breathe!
But he's not everyone's taste
My BFF barely uttered a guffaw
Yeah people can definitely have different styles of humor
It's STILL worth it. My motto is to laugh hard and often!
Good motto to have
Way too long, probably 20 years, need a girlfriend to go with
You can go to a comedy show with anyone. I went with a lady from the casino I didn't even know, and even bought her a drink and she bought me one and at least neither of us expected sex at the end of it 🤣🤣
Lol, true, you made me laugh
😁😅
No.. I have you here so I don't go for comedy show. ✌️
🤣🤣
He passed away 8 1/2 years ago, but thank you
Again, thanks😊
Been years! Think it was Dane Cook, maybe in Denver? At least 10 years ago
I am from Montreal we have the " just for laughs " comedy every year except the last two. I went to a show called the ethnic show it was hilarious. My biggest mistake was not seeing Dave Chapelle...
I just saw Chris Rock on Netflix. And Amy Schumer not too long ago.
i saw kevin nealon live in lake tahoe once he was hilarious 😂
Sounds awesome
I saw Gabriel Iglasias back in 2018. Always loved his style of comedy.
americans may not get this

1988 or 89 in nyc.
don't know who was on the ticket but they were terrible.
we got booted for heckling and laughed all the way out the door.
I’ve only been to one and that was an online zoom stand up show last year. But them Indian comedians were too funny.
I have never been to one. I'd like to go to one of Jay Leno, Ron White, or Gabriel Iglesias some day.
On a cruise ship a couple of years back now and I don't recall who it was
Sadly I have never been to a live comedy show.
You should go sometime
Yeah I'm not big on big crowds either. The venue/theater at the casino isn't that big so it's not a huge crowd hell the casino don't even get as crowded as it used to
I have never been to a comedy show. I had tickets to see Lenny Clarke but we ended up nopt going.
How can anyone ignore what is going on and head to a comedy club. The economy is about to collapse . I can't believe or understand people.
Saw one on the cruise ship this month. Forget his name.
Jeff Dunham, when he was still touring bars.
Bet that was funny
Just after 9/11 OMG he was a screaming riot!!
I bet lol
Never been to a comedy show.
Never in my life hahaha !!!
I've never been.
Yeah other than last night, went to a comedy club once years and years back, but it wasn't that good in my opinion. Last night was way better
I watch "The View" daily for comic relief.
Never been to one
More than 19 years ago. Seinfeld!
Can't remember
Obama's last name
