What movies DID NOT need a sequel?
Sometimes, it's better to just leave some things alone. Sometimes, plot points, character arcs, and other in-universe questions are satisfactorily resolved (sometimes, even masterfully). But in a time of seemingly endless cash-grabbing franchise expansions, some things just can't seem to be left alone.
What movies do you think should not have been given sequels? The movies in question MAY themselves be sequels or natural spin-offs. The sequels that were made don't really even have to be bad.
I have plenty (and I do plan to write a MyTake about this question), but I'll share three...
Independence Day

Superman II
