What's your fave era of the history of Pink Floyd?

Pre-psych / Bob Klose era (`65 - 67)

Psych / experimental era (`67 to `69)

Post-psych / prog era (`70 to `75)

Waters era (`76 to `81)

Post-Waters era (`81 to The Division Bell)

Post Wright era (`14 to present)

I love all pink Floyd's music. There's a great band

I like most of it. I especially like the psych and experimental era. The Waters era pretty much bores me. The wall was okay when it first came out but the more I heard it, the more I hated it. The fact that they went disco on it, didn't help.
"Animals" was okay but, having just heard it a few days ago, it sounds like it was forced. Gilmour's track and the two parter were the only bits I liked. I don't think I ever heard the album more than 7 or 8 times.
"The Final Cut" (The Wall part 2) was a dreadful bore and I doubt I've ever heard it more than 3 times!! OKAY, Roger, WE GET IT!! Your dad was killed in the war and it fucked up your head!! To the point where he would actually PREFER war!!
And, those last two albums were basically Waters' solo albums with the help of the rest of the band. right was fired, Mason was relegated to a guest performer. I'm amazed Gilmour was allowed to stay on as part of the band!
The next album was MUCH better than the previous 3 but I have yet to even find a copy! I borrowed my guitarists cassette copy and played it a couple times.
The last one with Richard on it wasn't all that great but it was still better than the Waters era stuff.
Their new single seems to be pointing them back into the direction they were going before Roger forced them to be all about his dad dying.
