Pretend like our reality is just some grim, hyper-depressing expositional first page of a science fiction novel set in the futuristic year of "2022." How will you explain the world and outlook to your reader or movie audience? Explain to them how things are in August 2022. What I wrote to @Mia-Wallace to explain "why the world is f*cked up:" "Welcome to 2022! Your Dystopian Orwellian nightmare of political correctness and evil being promoted as the norm! Enjoy a free seven day OnlyFans subscription to the 18 year old 'strong empowered feminist sex worker' of your choice, then pretend that democracy exists by voting in the next sham election controlled by oligarchs and corporate tyrants! Individual feelings are more important than what is best for community.

Science is denied because of hurt feelings.

Morals are taught by corporations with agendas via media.

Everyone is in dispair over the government and media creating division, to the point of polarization, but everyone continues drinking the cyanide laced Kool Aid.

People want unity... Only if you join their tribe... There is zero compromise.

People are fascist, calling anyone else who doesn't comform to their beliefs fascist, denying their own fascism in the same breath.

Toxic men, promoting domestic abuse on women, have their own cult following.

Toxic women, promoting the idea that all men are trash, are praised.

Everyone has some sort of diagnosis/problem they didn't cause, their selves, so, they feel it's not their responsibility to learn coping mechanisms or even attempt to fix their selves... It's the world's responsibility to tiptoe around their problems.

If you're not enabled, you're enabling.

Debauchery and just plain selfishness... Everywhere you look.

There are very few exceptions.

Spoken language has become weaponized, your every move and thought is judged by strangers. The current culture of the state remains obscure, neighbors and families divide themselves, often living in different worlds although within the same house. The nation has become the same, with a obscure battle and no existing norms to tell malevolence from truth. Individuals attacked, families divided, and unions become balkanized. The president remains above the law and above sits oligarchs, who dress themselves in plain daylight. They set the laws and the norms in the new world and prosecute those who do not tow the party lines. This is the gasoline and this is the fire and you are a witness watching it. You stand there, watching it. "
