i just hate how much of a cheap cash grab these friggin movies are. I still have not watched a single one. ill stick with the originals thank you. Thats in my opinion the bigger issues with these movies. there's no need for these to be made at all. its just for $$$$$$$.

My generation will watch them, but a lot of us want a more modern version. But little kids really want these movies.

From listening to the little kids in my class they haven't stopped talking about how excited they are to watch it.

nope that is not the only reason.. it might be a main one but there can be a multitude of reasons for wanting to make a movie... some directors really do it because they are truly passionate about the source material. others really want to just tell a good story.

but this stuff? there's nothing redeeming about them at all. i don't see the artistic value behind these movies at all. why not do original live action disney movies instead? leave the old stuff alone.

BUT a lot of the BEST movies meant for children appeal to both kids AND adults. i mean look at a lot of the old pixar movies and you'll understand there were things there for both kids and adults to enjoy about the stories and the animations. If these disney movies were aiming for that level of quality i wouldn't be saying anything about this now.

I'm not "ruining" anything so that comments a little whack lol. im just expressing a different opinion then the racists on here or anywhere else are saying is bad about this movie. so this post was more a response to those assholes than anything else.

Again you say bring no value no artistic appeal or drive.
You ain't seen them.
They have stand alone stories to add to the original hard work and lots of money spent on them.
I have seen all of them.
They are unique driven and full of passion.

And these movies have everything you claim it doesn't without even watching them or giving them a chance.
Instead you go i don't like it.
I think it's just a money grab.

And the actors who dedicated all the time energy the crew the writers who took a classic and worked hard to put a original spin on something will disagree.

I watched the new mulan. It was terrible. Not only the story, but just straight up the CGI quality was pathetic. I tried to watch Lion king, but about 5 minutes in after it being literally scene for scene the exact same thing as the cartoon version, I turned it off.

I do agree, but every movie is made for money and it's nice to have some changes. I still love the old movies and my little baby sister has to watch them with me but we both also really enjoy going to the movies watching the new versions and making new memories but I'm always more excited about these movies than her haha
