+1 yMan That's a hard one for me.
I love Classical to Heavy Metal.
Old Country Western from the 1940s-1970s to today's country music.
1950s rock'n'roll to today
I love music of all types, so asking me to favorite is impossible.
I guess if I had to pick something I would pick old time radio shows from the 1920-1950s
Throughout the 20th century, one of the dominant forms of mass media and entertainment was Radio Shows: Drama, Comedy, Mystery and Horror, as well as news and information, all presented in a purely audio format.
Some items are entire collections within themselves of many-episode runs of famous shows. Many date from the "Golden Age" of Radio, the early half of the 20th century, while some are remixes or recreations of these works for modern audiences. A percentage are modern (ish) productions utilizing the best of what improved technology and hopes to capture the radio magic could offer.
The introduction of television is considered to be the death knell of this medium, but the works live on.

u +1 ydifficult to say... since I do listen to a whole lot different kind of music
but I am still going with the 90's (and early 2000's) because that's when there was a lot more good and great stuff going on in different genres and at the same time34 Reply- +1 y
there was a lot of "alternative" back then

+1 ySuper hard for me because i literally love every genre dating back from 40s swing til now. But i guess I gotta give it to early 2000s. The way the men dressed. The swag and demeanor. I legit wanted to grow up and be a video girl!

If you held a gun to my head and forced me to choose I'd say the 1980s.

+1 yJust too hard to pick. If I had to say which decade is the most underrated, it would be the 80s. Because everyone wants to mock disco music. . .

+1 yI am one of these type of people whom names many things instead of naming just one because!!! Meh :P
Classic rock from 60's, 70's and 80's. Late 90's and early 2000's Hip Hop and R&B. Alright! I am guilty for loving the 90's pop/poprock boy and girl bands :D. And for the last 12 years? I listen to what is good, and i mean good. What's good? Childish Gambino is good... Migos? I know one song and one song only and that is Versace. The Weekend, Doja, Lizo, Logic and many more. So every decade hs something to offer and i choose them all :D. I listen to all kind of music, never forget the classic symphonies then the jazz that i adore so much, swing, Italiano swing and the music never stops

+1 yOh 70s and 80s by far! No questions about it. Michael Jackson... Earth wind and Fire... Donna Summer... Whitney Houston... etc. In my opinion it was the height of white and black music. Now so many of the songs are so explicit and degrading of men and women of all races 😒

+1 yGun to my head, the 90s. But that’s just when I was a teenager, so it’s likely a heavily biased answer. I feel like rap was at its peak, like that grimy, New York “boom-bap”, plus the West Coast gangsta rap and G-funk sounds…. all excellent.
Rock music was really good then too, between grunge and alternative.10 Reply - 1.9K opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic.

10 Reply369 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I like a lot of stuff from the 50's when singers just belted a song out and didn't know how to dance.
It is hard to say any decade is best. You are biased to the current because that is what you hear most.10 Reply90-2000s mainly but I like almost every era but I gravity who is the older stuff, 80s,70s even some stuff older then that. Music nowadays be boring me same generic junk all the time with some exceptions.

+1 yI grew up in the 80’s and back then it seemed like there were a dozen hit songs every week. The catalog of music from that decade has to dwarf any other decade and the number of classic bands and singers that had hits during that era is amazing.
10 ReplyIm a bit of everything.
Being a white guy who understands a bit of Spanish, I've been getting into the Latin Pop music culture thats been exploding with more female singers which is really cool to see.
Motown 50s rock and roll
