Mine would probably be Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation 1. It had great characters, fantastic music, fun gameplay, and it had these long cut scenes that made it feel like a movie.

Good list, but you named too many lmao. I was not expecting the old WWE games to be on your list along with other bangers like KOTOR2 and Fallout: New Vegas. I'm curious, which WWE: Smackdown vs Raw game had the best soundtrack in your opinion?

@AaronKrieger I don't know about the soundtracks. I mostly liked 2007 & 2008 because of GM mode. I'm glad they finally brought back GM mode in the last 2 WWE games. I still remember in the old games when Jerry the King Lawler was a commenter and said Mysyereo is lucky is he is 90 pounds soaking wet with a brick in each pocket. Lol
I know I named a lot, but if I would have actually looked through my collection the list would likely been even longer. Lol
I've been gaming since I was 3 years old on the Atari 2600 with Pacman and Joust.

Oh wow, you just hit me with some nostalgia. JR had a lot of good comments in that game, lmao. For GM mode, I know they returned it with the latest game I think, but I haven't been paying attention to the WWE games ever since the 2011 one. Did you stop playing the WWE games after GM mode was removed?

@AaronKrieger I played a few more, but not for nearly as many hours. I also stopped watching it when the ones I liked stopped wrestling, but in the last two games they brought back a lot of the older wresters from the Attitude era and Ruthless Aggression era. I think it has around 150 to 170 wrestlers in it now.

Fuck, that's hard, but it has to be Skyrim. Other top picks below it would be Resident Evil 7, AC2, Uncharted 2, GTA4, Outlast, and KOTOR 2.

Anyway, I have played the game since it came out and have modded it for years. I just know every inch of it along with the Elderscrolls lore. The reasons why I could go on forever for, since this game is so broad. (soundtrack, attention to small details, etc.)

Skyrim is awesome. My first playthrough save was just over 250 hours including many side quests and exploring.
Have you played Dragon Age Origins?
It is pretty fun if you like story driven fantasy RPGs with character development.

@HighValue I have attempted to before, but I just never got into any of the Dragon Age games. I think in general I struggle finding interest in video games these days, although I can find some I can complete maybe once or twice per year.

100% Silent Hill. I will always remember how my siblings and mom would always gather around and watch him play while we’re all screaming in the back 🤣 same with the Resident Evil series. It’s a memory I cherish. Once I got older I started playing myself and loved the atmosphere, sound, and how unnerving it was. I can’t wait to try the new games 😝
