They will play a farewell tour starting in September in Philadelphia and ending in January in Montreal. A lot of people seem to think it's because of recent allegations of Steven Tyler grooming a 14 year old back in 1975, then sexually assaulting her for the next few years.

I did not hear of that story but I know money and power corrupts people who aren’t trained to handle it in a self protective way. A lot of very rich people commit outrageous crimes that normal people can’t even invent in their heads. Too much power is like too much alcohol, it makes a person unstable.

Steven Tyler is 75 years old. I am as physically fit as Steven Tyler is. I have noticed a slowdown in the last 10 years. I have not studied the other member's ages, but at some point, all of them are going to slow down. I am 100% positive that Steven Tyler is not going to stop performing, but I suspect he knows he can't keep up the physically demanding schedule he had 20 years ago. Think of this more as a slow down.

@MysteriousDarkness This is a problem. I am 10 years younger than Steven Tyler. I remember as a teenager listening to these groups. I have watched groups like Queen, Pink Floyd, and Fleetwood Mac live. My memories of them are of 20 and 30-somethings. We all hate to say it, but age does creep up on us all. This is why I savor my memories.

Their first stop is Philly? Lol. They have had some brutal times in Philly and swore they would never go back. They were hit with a beer bottle and the second time a fireworks explosive. I was at both concerts.

I will have to see that to believe it. They will probably do a farewell tour that will last for years. That seems to be the trend these days.

They’re probably getting one last payday in before retiring from touring. I found it odd that the Black Crowes are opening. Wasn’t it Chris Robinson who revealed to Rolling Stone that Tyler uses backing tracks live?

We'll see how long it lasts. Joe and Brad left a generation ago and came back. Joe still has the revived "Joe Perry Project." They'll probably do a reunion tour at some point.
