I listen to Sirius XM in my car a lot.
Two channels that I often listen to are "Spa" and "Chill".
When I discover a new song I like, I take a picture of my car's information screen because it is showing the name of the artist and the name of the song. This way, when I get home, I can check them out more and re-hear the song.

This song, "Serenity Lake", by Béatrice Dupont has been on Chill quite a bit.
I listen to this song often now.
It's short and I really wish it was longer. She has only about a half dozen or so songs released, but they are rather good.

I am not sure how I discovered this, but I think it was YouTube having shown up in my feed when I was looking up some artist on Sirius XM.

Last song I remember being hooked on was this one. Theory of a Deadman "Rx" (medicate). Not exactly sure why either. I was going through some stuff at the time that the lyrics I guess spoke to me. But it doesn't make much sense because I've never been self destructive. Maybe it's because that the time I felt locked into a downward spiral with no way out. Kind of like the song. Either way if you can get past the bleakness of it it's a catchy song... I probably didn't do a very good job of selling it huh. 😂 this ain't me, I'm almost always an optimist FYI

I have been listening to Jimmy LaFave. He has been dead for a few years and I never heard of him until a couple of years ago. He was from Oklahoma and became a fixture in the Austin Texas music scene. He died in 2017 but left a ton of work behind. Ha wrote many of his own songs and recorded covers of many Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan songs. There is a song called "This Land" that is eerily appropriate for today even though he has been dead for a while.
