Third in a series of rock songs from the late '60s through the '70's. Do you like it?

This next song was released in 1970

when I was 16.
It starts out with a great beat and compelling chord progression. Danny Seraphine kicks ass on the drums and Terry Kath whips out some really unique guitar solos. Plus the brass rocks and precedes the rise of Danny Elfman’s Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo a few years later.

The band is Chicago, and the song is Twenty Five or Six to Four

I'd heard Jimmy Hendrix comment on Terry Kath when asked if he was the best blues player, Hendrix said "that dude blows me away". To be honest, I think he's right, Hendrix was really in touch with the emotional, like Simon Cowell, except very creative and could play the guitar like no-one else, probably in history. But Kath was living blues!

I read that it might have been inspired by LSD, but Robert Lamm never out and admitted to it. The idea that if you drop acid at 6:00pm, it doesn't wear off until 4:00am.
