Do you like or dislike Taylor Swift, and why?

Honestly, I will say I neither like nor dislike her. She has some catchy songs and can write great lyrics. However, I feel she is pretentious and doesn't have a clear direction of where she wants to be.

Taylor Swift grinds my gears. Last month was Record Store Day (RSD). Lots of artists release vinyl records on that day. Of the participating record stores, they only get just a few (3) of a particular record or less. People wait in line for 5 hours or more to get first picks. Anyway, I am a card-carrying metalhead and on RSD I was in fucking Taylor Swift HELL. I have never seen grown-ass straight men (maybe it was an act) gush over Taylor Swift. I was surrounded by these people who were taking selfies with their albums. I think she is fake and if I were a man I would not even want to date her because you will likely be her muse to write a scathing song about you. I would not even go to her show even if I won front-row tickets. I think I would hock them to any moron who likes her.

She’s no different from any other pop singer. I am not sure why so much emphasis is put on her over any other pop star. I have the misfortune of living in Nashville and she completely shut my city down and I still have no idea why since I have heard no news on Taylor Swift in at least a year.

Taylor Swift was amazing before and many thought she would become a wholesome woman who didn't let her fame get into her head but nowadays she has spiraled down the Brittney Spears path and her songs are basically bashing her ex-boyfriends or men whom she believes "betrayed" her.

the worst part is her legion of fanboys, fangirls, simps, white knights, feminists will keep pandering to her and enabling her toxic behavior which further ruins her even more

I like her music. I haven't heard all of it. She seems to sing a lot about guys, lol. I do have her 1989 album. I have no recollection of buying that, lol. Good album though. Maybe I'll listen to it tonight. I haven't heard all the songs. I wonder where I got that album anyway, lol

I think she's a great songwriter, and I like her voice as well.

But I think she has mental and emotional trauma that she never really dealt with. So that has stunted her growth as a person. She is several years behind in maturity as a woman.
