Doesn't Harrison Ford have enough money already? Why did he decide to make yet another 'Indiana Jones' film? It's guaranteed to be a dud, because he's just too old for this.

I already saw it. It was actually really good, although the ending and premise were really stupid. Spoiler alert (it IS about time travel). But it was nowhere as bad as I feared. It was certainly much better than Crystal Skull and Temple of Doom. But it was clear they were targeting a nostalgic audience, with so many references being made to, especially the first two films.

You kind of have a point though. And remember when killed like 7 people off the Portuguese coast just because it "belongs in a museum"

But no, it actually wasn't that bad. Very action packed and interesting locations. And it WAS about a real artifact. Though it was obvious they slid some Leftist propaganda in there. Speaking of which, my favorite part of the whole thing was that they cut their plans to have Phoebe Walter-Bridge takeover the franchise, because she was deemed "too woke" even for Disney.

It's a dud more because of Kathleen Kennedy and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. By every account I've heard, they basically hijacked the movie, trashed Jones as a character, and desperately demand that you like and affirm a completely unlikeable character while Jones himself is a washed-up sidekick in his own movie. Even the shills are pointing this out while saying it's a good thing.

The only movies that I know of coming out this year that will be worth seeing in theaters are Oppenheimer and Mission Impossible.

Most movie stars are relatively wealthy. That doesn't affect my decision to see a movie. I go if I think I'm going to enjoy it.
