What is your overall opinion of the modern Disney Company?

Was Disney ever really good though? They've always been good at self promotion and labeling their own productions as masterpieces but that's no different than Trump self proclaiming himself the bestest everest.

We remember Disney through childhood eyes and wasn't everything better back then? I doubt modern kids would enjoy the old classics.

Disney was good until Bob Iger became the new boss of Disney. They had their ups and downs, but overall, they were better before. Including old stuff I never saw as a kid.

I don't watch Disney movies anymore, cause I just don't find them as pure and as innocent as I did was a kid but also as an adult, I have a lower tolerance for drama and I get angry when I see the villain succeeding in the movie before its conclusion.

Instead of creating new stories. With new characters, they’re remaking movies of classics and completely changing their story concepts.




And the company itself is one of the most greediest companies out there. I live in California, Disneyland rips people off like CRAZY.

Disney execs managed to kill an un-killable brand. We skipped a lot of their movies in the past years. We were big fans and have spent many thousands on their parks. We just don’t bother with them anymore. They are the bud light of entertainment.

Never liked Disney even as child I found most Disney franchises kitschy. Now as woke multimedia Kraken that swallowed tons of good other franchise people loved like Star Wars or Indiana Jones, is Disney company even less likeable than before.

In terms of creatives, I enjoy the work Disney puts out, I like the stories and enjoy them. In terms of a corporation, Disney is fucking evil
