So Fat Bottomed Girls is being taken off of Queens greatest hits. I always thought Queen was ahead of the current craze for big booty. Now they are cancelling the song 40 years later. Am I missing something here?

Did you actually read the article? It's been left out only on 'Yoto', "an audio platform aimed a children", and it quotes some of the lyrics:
