What’s wrong with liking old music?

people say bad things about people who like older music. i like 90s r&b/rap, and someone said “people who like older music are insufferable.” so i quickly took it all off my playlist.

The music of the 70s, 80s and 90s was the best in history. Thats just a fact. There is actually a musical algorithm which works to prompt the brain to produce serotonin (the feel good chemical) and more songs from those decades match that algorithm than any other period especially the current one.

Frankly, the fact that you like old music shows that you have a high-quality musical taste.. In these modern times, when the music industry is full of industry plants and talentless musicians, listening to old music made for passion and art shows that you are not brainwashed with sh*tty music.
