Music and Politics can both divide US. Democracy is an illusion. Vote them in and they will do what they want and not what the voting constituents request of them. It's a stepping stone to a richer life. Show me the poor US Congressman or Senator?

The sad thing is while we debate and battle our inner legislative demons, all the while our enemies are gathering for war against us the whole while enjoying the discord in our own nation. It's a carnival show of horrors that distracts from the truly real issues plaguing this nation.

Political people are horrible. I wish them never ending suffering and torment. They have ruined so much for their petty struggles for control.

Music has sucked for most of this century. I mostly listen to classic music from my parent's time in the 80s and 90s.

yes absolutely. politics also brings people together too though like each side against each side. Music can also tear people apart like people who hate country are all on one side vs lovers on the other

I tend to agree. Music is beautiful. Even if I am not a fan of the specific genre I can still appreciate a talented vocalist, instrumentalist, lyricist, composer. Politics is usually like war.

There are many things that can divide up. Music can be one of them. Lots of people that like classical music look down on country music fans etc. Politics as well.
