What’s your favourite quote from the movie?

I loved Sherlock, I watched it years ago and I loved the quote

”I might be on the side of the angels, but don’t think for a second that I am one of them.”

I think it’s a perfect face of the best of type of human.

The one who won a war with his/her inner devil and managed to purify herself into a kind, protective, fair person who always stands for the people in need of him/her.

Not because he had no choice, or he’s scared of the consequences of not being kind. No, in all honesty he craves what other people fear.

But because somewhere along the life, he realized how powerful he actually is, he realized he could either become the biggest bless or the worst nightmare, he made a conscious choice to be the former. Somewhere, in a quiet place, he sat himself down and made a decision to never hurt anyone, he chained his monsters

And promised to only unleash them to the people who harm and hurt others.

Because doesn’t matter what kind of person he was born to become, he has a choice, we all do, and he did not want to become the person he was inclined to be.

He wanted to be a on the side of good people, but an equal and a ferocious rival to the worst of the human beings.

And I believe, we are not really who we think we are, instead, we are who we WANT to be.

"We were put on this earth to rise above nature, not wallow in it", I thought was a quote from the film 'The African Queen', but it turns out it's not. The actual words are, "Nature, Mr. Allnut, is what we are put in this world to rise above".

Either way, I strongly agree with the sentiment, and I'll use it whenever I have to when I come across someone who thinks that something is right simply because it occurs in nature.

Harry Potter Movie, when Dumbledore says;

"Of course, it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

I take that to mean, that everything we see and process from out external environment is happening in our head, and we have to come to our own conclusions on if we want to believe it or not.

I think you could pull Harry's name out of the quote and put any of the names of the women I have dated in last few years and insert their name.

Of course, LaFemme it is happening in your own head, but why should it not mean it is not real?

So where do we go from here, I assume we just go on.
