Each of us have an agenda, a message or theme we feel everyone should hear and is beneficial to rest of us here, and when a person reaches the level where they can broadcast their view of what their agenda is they do so and not everyone is in agreement but they still move forward with what they Believe is right course of action, and in this case with Disney they focus on being a positive force for kids, to want kids to strive for they are protecting their image as well as lead by example, according to their view of the way it should be here but with anything presented to the public you can't please everybody, when you try to do so you wind up pleasing no one

Disney should be about entertaining little kids and not political messages. If you want to put a message in keep it simple like be nice or wash your hands not a lecture on gender identity.

But there's the issue that we ourselves have become too easily triggered by messaging that doesn't fit our own political viewpoint. Did anyone at the time complain about Jim Crow Dumbo? Probably not

F Disney Studios. They damaged their brand. They can’t fix this just like they couldn’t fix Star Wars after The Last Jedi.

Its not like they didn’t have plenty of warnings from the complaints but they just kept going until they damaged themselves so badly that they lost a large segment of their audience. Now people just assume a new Disney movie will be insulting, badly written and regurgitated crap. The brand damage is people don’t even want yo say they went to see a Disney movie, its like holding a Bud Light at a BYOB party.

Yes. I agree. This is why my daughter (who was a fanatical Marvel fan) has wrote off the franchise and doesn’t watch it anymore. This is why we haven’t seen a single Disney movie since Frozen, and why we cancelled our Disney+ streaming service.

I don’t want to be preached to. I want to be entertained. There is plenty of reality in my daily life. I don’t need anymore than I have.

I don't really watch Disney movies. They are for kids and yet every time there is a new Disney movie there's a whole lot of adults that want me to know their opinion on it. Whereas my opinion on them is maybe grow up and watch movies for adults.

Disney's plummeting stock price and movies that are bombing one after the other are proof of this.
