Sometimes I like to watch them just to look at all the adorable dogs I'll never own. 🥺
I prefer agility and dock-diving (sports) to conformation, but that's because I always competed in sports with my dogs. (Agility, obedience, rally, barn-hunt). (Ribbons are her haul from first 8 months of competition). Incidentally, she passed away the morning of New Year's Day, 2019.
They were ineligible for conformation because of silly things like coloring. Nothing wrong with them physically, just too much white to safely breed, so didn't meet the breed standard.

No, because you see too many sniffing each other's asses, rubbing their butts on the grass, humping someone's leg, or eating a lady dog's poop. Gross!
My parents divorced and my father remarried 8 days after the divorce was final. His second wife, on her very best day, was the Wicked Bitch Of The East! Whenever I went to their home, she insisted on watching either ballroom dancing competitions or the Westminster Dog Competition and the entire package was simply horrible. I've never watched ballroom dancing or dog shows since then.
Yes, I like watching Dog Shows/ Championships on TV, it's something how people put so much into getting their dog to win, I am a big fan of Cocker Spaniels and I love waiting for them to come on my body gets chills all over I think of my late dog, Heaven.

Someone I worked with was active in dog shows but only because his wife was. He confided in me that the people at the shows are world class snobs.
Our cat is from champion bloodlines and the breeder asked if we were going to take her to shows. I said no, she’s only for us. She is a $2,000 house cat.
I love the comedy spoof movie "Best in Show."
Happy New Year!My wife had one on the other night, so I watched some of it while eating supper.
I still lean more towards tractor pulling vs dog shows.I usually think the dog and kitten super bowls are cute.
I used to enjoy them until I learned from championship owners that they are THE MOST RIGGED competition in the world. Even so, the dogs are often just awesome.
I watch Theo ne on thansgiving every year. Love seeing how my favorite breeds fare. Pomeranians and blue heelers.
Yes, I watched them but I was watching NFL football and that’s the number one priority the Dolphins
It’s already my hobby to dog watch 🥹💜 so I probably would love to watch the dog shows too LOL. I adore them nonetheless 🥺😭
I don't like to watch anything that calls itself a show. These are often borderline animal abuse.
