Oh yeah. I'm always unintentionally startling people because they can't hear me. 😂

It's tricky because I tend to be unintentionally stealthy and startle people by ""appearing""" beside them "out of nowhere" or walking into a room unnoticed. My mom always joked that she should attach a little bell to me like I'm a cat or something😭

BUT whenever I'm trying to do it intentionally it never works lol. I get clumsy all of a sudden

The more you try to be stealthy the more you'll draw attention to yourself. If you hang around doors checking no ones watching, then peep around, you stand out like a sore thumb. Just treat it like any other door and very few will notice.

Its the same in nature, a predator just out for stroll gets ignored but one trying to be stealthy draws attention.

I mean sometimes we do like multi-day things with paintball and Airsoft and when it's night time it's the perfect time to go out because some people will just stay around the little campfire they make and you can get really close to them a lot of time they're not paying attention because they think everyone else is sleeping at that time. My friend and I ended up stealing their marshmallows and shit and just went back to our area literally crawling on the ground with the mellows

I constantly unintentionally startle people by somehow sneaking up on them without trying so I have to imagine I'd be pretty good if I had to do it intentionally.

Very. Helps when you have light feet and can match the person's steps. Makes it easier to stay undetected.

I know I am cause I scare people be cause they thing I just appear, my walks are silent, ice practiced for a long time, you literally can't hear me coming even with shoes lol
