Use as storage area I am minimalist and I don't have much stuff i can use this place for storing items that are required in cold rain and all, or I could just keep a chair there with couple of things around I can play with

Unless I need storage space, I'd make it a decorative corner.
Perhaps a rocking chair with a skeleton in it (fake, or real).
For the fun, I might dress it in a police uniform.

I'd suggest turning into a small private office space. A desk, chair and computer with monitor.

Build a wall with a door and make it a large closet/storage room. You can never have enough storage space.

I'd put shoe storage on the wall where it slopes down and the other side I'd build two shelves so I can put on of those light up bars to hang your clothes on and that back wall would one big mirror from floor to ceiling and I'd put a glass door I the front to close it in
