Do romantic scenes in movies get you emotional?

Not necessarily romantic ones but, I did recently watch the biographical movie about the Von Erich's. Since I already knew the story, when I saw it happen on the big screen, I cried

It has been proven by scientists woman mature a lot quicker then men. No wonder ao many marraiges fall apart end up in divorce.

Not at all. Most of the times is soooo cheesy and unrealistic. I only got emotional during a romantic scene once.
