If I had the money of course. The one thing I live is on tech so it would be well worth investing into making all that perfect.
If I didn't use my £1000 Laptop 24/7 I wouldn't buy one but I do, shame it broke and I could only get this cheap one. But I bought a steam deck instead this time hoping it's better. Tbf no tech is built to last so 4 years wasn't bad.
I would never buy a Lambo or expensive car even as a billionaire because that I just simply wouldn't use but things I will use everyday or at least use a lot when I can for sure will.

Did you mean to use three zeroes? That's a million dollars.
I have known serious audiophiles who spend 100K or more. But a couple of grand is my limit. Even that much is unlikely since you start getting diminishing returns with a quarter that much for audio.
Televisions have gotten ridiculous. Everyone wants these huge wall size TVs. I don't have a TV at all, so I spend zero on televisions.
Just before last Christmas my wonderful extravagant husband decided we needed a new "cinema size" television for the lounge... Spending £2350 in doing so... Boys and their toys!
I spent $500 on a PS5, it shut down like the day after the warranty expired, I paid another $200 for aftermarket repair... I'm just $300 away from that with just that one item.

I think my TV was around $900. But in usd that’s like $500.
That depends...
If it were an uncommon model of a top-of-the-line set old enough to be equipped with a delta gun CRT, perhaps even with a tube hybrid chassis and in a style I really like, and with a big stash of spare parts, especially NOS CRTs I could use to refurbish other sets, then yes. If it were a Zenith I would want one with the ultramatic tuner; the transition from VHF to UHF and advancing through the UHF presets by a fully mechanical remote is electromechanical ear and eye candy for me. I have some low-power broadcast modulators so I could make it pick up anything I want on any one of those presets.
One day I'm going to get a TV for my place that is top of the line. But that's closer to 4k
In my opinion, most tv's in that price range are not really worth it so I get $300 or $600 models from Visio. Their tvs priced less than $1200 are objectively the best in my opinion
My TV and my AV receiver costed me (at cost) around $2000 each (closer to $4000 retail), so, yes. But that's literally the business that I'm in, so it would be like a race car driver spending a lot of money on a race car, or a cook spending a lot of money on cookware.
1000k = 1,000,000
1M what? Dollars? Not likely. Maybe if i had billions and the TV intravenously injected high quality hallucinogens into my body so that i could live everything i was watching. Ell oh ell!Do you mean 1,000 or 1,000,000?
If a thousand, on a tv? No, On some other device? Yes.
If a million, no.I think my OLED was 1500 in USD. I have 2,5m high huge windows in my fireplace room where the TV stands and TV has to be bright to see something at sunny day, or I have to put blinds down
I only enjoy the high end movies you have to pay extra to watch and being frugal, I don’t buy them.
The only thing I paid a grand for is a 10" open reel tape recorder that plays and records in both directions.
since i don't have that money, no i wouldn't. like 1000k is 1.000.000 bucks right? or did i get it wrong?
1000K is nothing. Our home theatre system cost us 12,000+ and that is just one of our entrainment set-ups. We have many more.
I did that back in the days for HD Television and my PS3 & PS4.
1000k means 1,000,000.
If you already typed 1,000 then you dont need the k. Which stands for "kilo" a thousand.Hell that's a lot 😮 unless it's a vital piece like an oven or a hot water system 🚿
If by electronic device you include a treadmill (with an electronic screen) then yes, but for a TV? No.
Never. Entertainment is not worth that much. Entertainment isn't even worth 700
I went 2k for my computer in 2018. Still running very well.
Hell no. TV is a total life drain. Buy appreciating assets not deprecating assets that drain your time and happiness.
1000k? As in 1000000? :-).
When I was young and single I bought a really nice TV. It wasn't 1000 but not far off.
Nowadays I have kids and a wife so every penny is life and death.
I can’t see me ever spending more than 1k on a tv.
